I am now in the rooting for either Tou Tou not to have a romantic relationship or to get with glasses guy ( Li Quan), although he is probably going to end up with her best friend, since they are living together.

You said it perfectly!!! She needs psychological help, more than RTZ can give her. He is getting to attached and going way over what any medical professional would do with a patient. I mean he is willing to leave his family home if they return her to hers, what kind of medical professional does that? Not only that, she is forming an attachment to him that won't be easy to move away from either, it is all very unhealthy. This whole scenario is probably the worst part of this drama. I don't understand what the writer is trying to do here, because it is so very unhealthy and not what medical professionals do and that his parents allowed her to move in in the first place, I think was wrong on their part as well.

With every episode, I keep wanting more. Even though this drama shows every day, I really can't get enough. All the interactions between all the cast be it positive or negative are so enlightening and good. I feel like I am learning Chinese medicine, but in a very light hearted way.

That being said, there are really only 2 people in the cast I don't really like, Meng Meng, whom I think has over used her screen time. I think she has been there way to long, if she isn't fixed now, there is way more than RTZ can do for her and she needs to be sent back to her parents or a specialist or she will never be able to be function on her own again. RTZ is making her to reliant on other people. The second is the Rebecca character, I get her story and all, but I just really don't like her character. She just doesn't really seem to fit and/or she doesn't even try to fit in, it kind of makes it uncomfortable to watch her character on screen.

Tou Tou and her master are definitely very hard headed. I am glad they finally worked it out, but I was hoping RXZ would have been the one to go to her. I think he owed her more of an apology than she owed him. The other students owe her as well. Shi Yan even tried to speak up and say something, but in the end Tou Tou took all the blame, especially after that speech she made to all of them while taking the Chinese medicine vs taking the antibiotics.

And Zhao LuSi really has such depth at acting it is amazing to watch her, I was almost in tears as she was walking away from the medical center. She draws you into any character she plays and you can feel all her emotion with her acting, so much that you either love her or hate her, but she does it so well.

Everything that was shown in the videos has already been shown in the series, and from those clips and from the series there hasn't been anything like that. I doubt that would really happen either. Meng Meng already suffered from an ectopic pregnancy and then suffered a mental breakdown, right now TZ is just helping her to become better because he feels guilty. Granted, we all are seeing from what the show has shown and it seems there may end of being feelings between the two, but we don't know if is one sided yet or not. There is much to see. I think the videos are just explaining what happened with Meng Meng, but I am not familiar with Mandarin very well either.

The only negative I have is why do they keep ending these episodes mid conversations. They are the middle of discussing important stuff and then end credits start. Arghhhhh!!!

Other than that, I truly am enjoying this drama, it is so much more than the usual tropes of romance, backstabbing, and other random stuff they like to put in dramas. It is heartwarming, inciteful, poignant, informative, and a just an all around great drama.

I am a bit disappointed in the "backers/business men/investors/etc. Especially that one guy that took over leading the academy for RXZ. He is a real "asshole" (for lack of a better term). I can't anymore with that guy, ugh really, what a weasel. In America, if you were to donate your building or something like that for training purposes, you could use it as a tax write off or something like that, but I am not sure how they do it in China. I just think it was ridiculous of them doing things the way they did. They were both being petty.

I agree, I think Luo Yi Zhou is going to have a great future in acting. I am going to start following his projects and hope he gets more roles.

I don't want him to do anything bad either. I actually like his character and wish they would give him more screen time, especially with Tou Tou, I think those two would have great dialogue, maybe she can help be a bit more outspoken, etc.

First all let me I haven't ever really been a fan of Esther Yu, but after watching the trailer for this.... I really think I might enjoy it. It seems she is taking on a more dynamic and serious role and I can't wait to see it. Another thing, only 24 episodes??? What... that trailer looked like it would have so much more to the story, it will definitely be interesting to see how they get all that in only 24 episodes. I just hope it doesn't make the story seem rushed. Definitely going to be a must watch!

The best relationship in this entire drama is between Tou Tou and her master, Ren Xin Zheng. I love their dynamic and their interactions.

~~The show today was very well done, and had a lot of good insight and thoughts and maturity.

~~ It was so nice that there was a lot less of Meng Meng, every time I see her, she makes me cringe, she is like a little child clinging...

~~ I think we maybe headed to a bad road for Li Quan. I can see the envy or jealousy he gets when Tou Tou or any of the others are chosen to help over him. I have a feeling he is going to do something unintentionally bad to get noticed or approval.

~~I also see a bit of envy, maybe even jealousy that Tian Zhen has toward Tou Tou's relationship with TZ's father. I like how Tou Tou asked him, "you have been studying this since young, have you ever felt enlightened?" made him pause..

A lot of great little moments in this episode.

yeah, I am having a hard time getting into any other drama right now, and I have tried several. I am really wanting to watch Dr. Romantic 3, but it isn't showing up in my area right now.

I agree. There are so many little lessons within this drama. I love it. Still so much growth needed. We haven't even gotten to Tou Tou's problems (and we know she has her own, by just how she acts and jokes around, etc.). I do love how she is strong, honest, and so smart. This character is perfectly written for and acted by ZLS.

I didn't even think that was the reason he got her drunk. I just assumed he was doing it to mess with her. That reasoning makes me even more irate. He shouldn't be allowed to go and his mother needs to put her damn foot down and kick Meng Meng out.

I am still in the middle of episode 10, but I had to pause to basically come here and repeat/say what everyone else has already been saying. I can't even with the ML anymore. I completely agree with everyone else's assessment and vibes about the ML. Can we get him drunk and throw him into the river and he can take his precious Meng Meng with him?!?

That is exactly how I feel. I actually want to see more Chinese medicine, that is interesting to me. These psychological problems are a bit irritating. I agree with you she needs to see a therapist or something more. I know Chinese medicine also focuses on wellbeing and mental health to a point, but there are just some cases that need more help than a 26 yr old just out of med school still learning TCM can give. The fact that his parents are still allowing this and allowing her to live with them, is wrong in so many ways. They said Meng Meng's parents need to be around for the treatment to work, so how is this situation right now making her any better?

I came here to say that exact thing. Wanted to add also I hope honestly that RTZ and Tou Tou never get together in this series, especially after what happened. The fact he just sat there, I was totally shocked and all the adults/elders knew he was the one who was really responsible. I am glad his father said what he said to RTZ's mother, I just wish he had of said it to RTZ as well.

Also, RTZ is going way overboard with Meng Meng. His mother is trying to put a stop to it, but she is being way to soft. She needs to be firm and put her foot down. That whole situation is going to get really bad. RTZ said he wants to make up for what his misdiagnose with Meng Meng, will he try to make up with Tou Tou as well, after getting her almost drowned or worse? Doubtful!

I thought that she would become friends with ZLS's character and then she would go for the glasses guy (Li Quan?), I didn't know they were taking Meng Meng's character in this type of direction.

I think they did operate, but after the operation supposedly she became unstable and self harming

I agree. I think she is going to develop deep feelings for him, even though he says he is trying to heal her, but I think it is going to become an unhealthy relationship and then something is going to happen (if judging by the into or end credits)
