I have to say I do not like the whole Meng Meng and Tian Zhen thing going on. Like his mother said, he seems to be acting above and beyond how a physician should act toward a patient. One of the worst things you can do as a physician or mental health person is being to emotional, because one will start being dependent on the other and it could lead to feelings that aren't mutual and/or end up in a very unhealthy relationship. He basically drops and does everything for Meng Meng right now and it is a bit excessive. Also, I think there is a lot more going on with Meng Meng than just her losing her mind from having an ectopic pregnancy.

The mother of the girl in the wheelchair (the actress playing her) seems to play a lot of mother roles. She was also the depressed, sort of out of control mother of Bai Lu's character in Ordinary Greatness and Ning Meng's (Seven Tan) mother in Master of My Own. Although, in the cast list above it doesn't have her listed.

I think the TCM doctors in this series are preforming more mental health therapy than actual medicinal help. I want to see more of the medicinal/herb/acupuncture help/therapy.

I thought the description for Love Better Than Immortality was wrong, but I haven't really finished that one, have only watched the first few episodes. Besides Hu Tong, it is the only one I haven't finished or watched of ZLS's dramas.

I agree. I can't imagine anyone else playing this role. ZLS is perfect.

I think her story about the orphanage was real. I mean we know she was an orphan, but the part where she was telling about all the other kids getting adopted. But she played it off because she didn't want to get emotional. She hides her feelings behind jokes and laughter. I have to agree with a previous post as well about how they seem to be forcing her to be something she doesn't really want to be, just because of her ancestors. I guess forcing is a strong word, she could have declined, she just wanted the money. She does seem to be slowly adapting, I mean she has almost a photographic memory, so she is really smart. This is a perfect role for ZLS, imo. I am really enjoying watching her act.

OMG, that is where he is from... LOL, I kept thinking where have I seen that actor before and I couldn't remember, but I knew he had played more of a villain role in whatever I saw him in. Now that you said his JOL name, it clicked.

Halfway through episode 4 and I am enjoying it. I think the cast so far (except for one) has been really good. You can see that slow spark of chemistry building between ZLS and LYZ. I am actually looking for to seeing LYZ grow as an actor, he seems to be doing quite well so far in this drama.

I do have a question and I am pretty sure it silly, but I wanted to clarify. The subtitles keep putting TCM, I am assuming TCM stands for Traditional Chinese Medicine, correct?

Also, you don't have to have any kind of degree to practice or learn TCM? I know it isn't like western medicine and I guess technically they are attending a "school" sort of. I mean the teacher has a delivery girl, a nurse, a lawyer, etc. attending to learn TCM and then practice it. It is interesting.

It could be because you are traveling. But I can find it on my Prime Video under the title "True to Love". I am watching in the US.

I think if she were to star with him in a series, she would get all kinds of backlash, fans of male idols can be vicious. There were some that way recently with Bai Lu with her recent drama she did with Dylan Wang. Although, I would like to see ZLS and Dylan together, I think they would make a great drama, I just don't want to see her get negative back lash from it. I would love to see her with Wang Yibo as well, but that would probably get even more negativity. Sometimes these fans can't just try and enjoy the dramas that these actors do, they have to cause drama behind the scenes. Also, imo, Dylan's best drama was Meteor Garden, I haven't been a fan of much of his recent stuff, lately.

Right!!! ZLS was already on the rise and pretty famous before she even starred with Dilraba. I don't understand why they wouldn't correct the misinformation. At least those of us who really follow her and have seen her dramas know the truth.

Whoever did the details page hasn't watched some of her shows. She was not an assassin in "Oh My Emperor" and "Dating in the Kitchen" was not a time-traveling romantic comedy, romantic comedy yes, time-traveling, no.

I am happy that most of the original cast is back it will make it definitely better. Hopefully they can get Xiao Zhan, but that is probably highly doubtful.

My thoughts are that Kdramas have the best Modern dramas and C dramas shine with costume dramas. There are a few Chinese modern dramas I like, but I mostly love the political or wuxia costume dramas.

I think my Xian Xia genre like is waning as well. The only one I have ever really liked was Three Lives, Three Worlds: Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms. After that, almost all Xian Xia has fell completely flat for me. My Starry Love wasn't to bad.

Also, I agree with you about Zhao LuSi, I absolutely love her. She is an amazing actress and also seems like a sincere and kind hearted person as well.

I can't find it either. Usually if it says Disney + for the US you can try Hulu cause that is where they usually put this, but I can't even find it on Hulu either.

I disagree. She builds all kinds of things by just looking at them one time. She is actually pretty clever. The male lead does not always save her, she actually saves herself plenty and she is very strong in heart. The way she stands up and fights, especially toward the end of the series. I don't know where you get that she isn't very bright or annoying. Naive maybe, but you got to understand the character was not taught how to be a lady, her parents left her with her grandmother right after she was born and the grandmother and aunt never taught her to read or etiquette, etc.

I miss seeing him. I want to see him acting in dramas again. I hope he finds a good studio or better management team to get him better roles.

I have recently become a huge fan of Gong Hyo Jin, so I am excited to see her in this, and especially with Lee Min Ho. They look like they will have amazing chemistry. Although, I am not fond of any type of sci fi series or drama will try and give this one a shot. I don't really like supernatural stuff that much either, but I surprisingly enjoyed GHJ's The Master's Son.

I think it will be hard to watch this, because I absolutely love the Korean drama. I don't know about the casting either. I guess I will have to try and watch it, but most often when I try to watch a drama after watching the originals or something similar it doesn't usually go well. The only exception being Hana Yori Dango/Boys Over Flowers/Meteor Garden.
