Title Beyond Evil Spoiler
That is a really good thriller, I am surprised it doesn't get recommended more often. One of the few dramas that…
I would like to point out what I didn't like - the portrayal of disability was really bad in this - the only visibly disabled characters also both turned out to be evil murderers who pretend to be more disabled than they really are for their gain. When media portrays disability like this it further stigmatizes an already oppressed group, implying they are really villains and faking it. If you are looking for nice and wholesome representation of disability, this show is not the one. Disappointing, even though it was a really good watch.
Also the way cops are portrayed is simultaneously critical and also not at all, like every show about cops. We do see a bunch of unhinged men who become cops, even though they probably shouldn't have. But also this drama wants us to know, that at the end of the day cops are the good ones fighting for a better world and get to keep their jobs and get promotions and the real villains are the rich influential people high up. This could have been more critical, just like DP is critical of the military.

That is a really good thriller, I am surprised it doesn't get recommended more often. One of the few dramas that had enough plot to keep the story interesting for all 16 episodes. Phenomenal acting, can't help but feel proud of Yeo Jin Goo - he is young, but already gets such intense and serious roles and he is so talented! Good for him, I hope his career keeps going really well. Highly recommended watch. No romance in this one, although the chemistry between the two male leads was very passionate.

A great show to watch for anyone who likes the drug cartel drama gerne. As a big fan on Narcos and Breaking Bad, I enjoyed it :) Would recommend

The car chases were really cool and I had fun watching, but I wasn't very impressed with where the plot went.

Pleasantly surprised by the movie - it was one of the few korean movies available on a plane and I first hesitated because the plot sounded a bit too silly and unrealistic, but this movie was really well executed. The actors are all brilliant and had great chemistry, the tension had me on the edge of my seat the whole movie. I had a lot of audible gasps and actual laugh out loud moments. I also liked that in between the comedy and the drama there was critique of real estate prices and inflation. Highly recommended watch, why haven't I heard about this? 8 out of 10.

I suffered through the first 30 minuted of the first episodes and it looks very silly (in a bad way). Went to the comments to find out if I should keep watching, but it doesn't sound like it gets better. Every character is insufferable and acts in a really exaggerated way that no real person ever does. I don't like it when shows are written like this. The special effects look really cheap. Also boo hoo for pretending like any of these characters are ugly - in what universe is Park Bo Young not hot?! Excuse me?? And the guy who plays ML in the beginning is also not ugly, he is literally a regular cute guy! And the way everyone faints because of how gorgeous Ahn Hyo Seop is... Why can't any of the characters be normal?! I did not expect this drama to be this bad.

Very high production value, good actors. My favorite part was that this drama delves into some though provoking questions and has some good social commentary. This show deals with disability surprisingly well, considering how bad korean society and k dramas usually do (I am still mad at how ableist "Where stars land" is).

But I have to be honest, this is not the type of storytelling format that I like - every episode (or sometimes two episodes) is a different case for the attorneys to solve. Not all of the cases were interesting. I am also not a fan of dramas about lawyers, which is why I initially didn't want to watch, but people were hyping it so much. People also talked about the romance in this drama as if this is the most romantic love story ever, but there wasn't that much romance here actually - this is a lawyer drama where the ML gets to have a romantic plotline and not a romance drama. I wasn't satisfied with how they resolved the story with all the villains, a bit underwhelming. This drama started out strong and kinda lots its momentum by the end, but that is true of all 16 episode dramas. It is overhyped? maybe a bit.

It kinda sounds like it wasn't that good, but it is an 8 out of 10 for me and I think this is a really well made drama that I enjoyed watching and I will watch the second season it they make one. But for me this is not the best drama of all times.

This is quite underrated, this drama is so much better than I expected. When I read the plot summary I thought "meh, doesn't sound that awesome", but when you see how it is actually done, how the actors play their roles, how it is shot - it is really good.

I really liked that ML and FL are really into each other right away and they are horny for each other (I hate it when ML is whipped and the FL seemingly doesn't even like him that much). Yes there are people around them who are into each of them and there are a couple of pouty jealousy scenes, but there isn't ever a real love triangle, this is so refreshing. I also liked the ending, it plays with a very annoying trope, but subverts it and makes fun of it in an original way, that I haven't seen before.

I didn't like that the FL wasn't standing up for herself or talking back to rude people in a lot of the situations, but it did match the way the character is written - she is supposed to be soft and introverted and maybe has selective mutism? Someone a few comments below asked whether she is supposed to be neurodivergent and maybe she is (not in an extreme way, which is not often represented in TV). She is kind of having trouble being an adult , with the way she solves her problems and skips meals. I think she is well written though, this is a realistic portrayal.
The ML is kind of a himbo in the beginning, but he is much smarter than people think, just not in the sophisticated and booksmart way.

I would recommend it, I can't believed I didn't watch it sooner, it is good! If you are on the fence, just give it a try and watch a couple of episodes, I don't think this is a waste of time :)

Wait, why am I not allowed to point out specific things I personally didn't like about a drama? I read the comments before I decide if I will watch a drama - maybe someone who considers watching it would read my comment and think "this doesn't sound like a drama I would enjoy", someone else would think "none of these things bother me in a plot, it actually sounds like my kind of story". My opinion on this drama is just as valid as yours.

Very good movie! Great acting, full of tension, exactly as long as it should be. But it doesn't offer anything new in this genre. Would recommend if you like k-zombies

So many mixed feelings on this one. This drama kept coming up under the "possessive ML" tag and recommendations on dramas where the ML is really in love with the FL, but this is kinda not what I was hoping for. This is more creepy and complicated than Park Hyungsik level of cuteness. This is also quite a depressing watch. I also don't think this ages super well.
The ML is either morally grey or kinda of an antihero actually. I did not appreciate the non-consensual kisses and he made a lot of bad decisions... The romance story lines are very messy and dramatic. I have so many questions though: is he legit supposed to be around 17-25 years old? There were several mentions of what year it is and how old ML is supposed to be - hopefully the translation was wrong where I watched it, because Lee Joongi looks like a grown ass man in this.

Also why didn't she use any of her knowledge about future technology? Yeah, she went back in time and invented soap and sheet masks, but girl... you are not thinking big enough! What about modern plumbing systems, what about electricity, what about advancements in the medicine and the military, what about modern modes of transportation? Even a person with very rudimentary knowledge of how any of these work knows so much more than anyone 1000 years earlier. She wrote in hangeul, but didn't try to make it a widespread thing, despite her connections to the palace. She literally could have made writing and reading more accessible, she could have invented the letter press, which works well for hangeul and not for chinese characters. Why did they keep saying how you are not supposed to change the past, even though she kept changing it. She went back in time just to have romances with men and suffer. What would you do if you knew about technology from 1000 years in the future? Probably not what she did.
Also, how did she understand them? 1000 years difference means they spoke a completely different language (and also the chinese characters changed a lot since). I know we are not supposed to think about these things, this is a magical time travel sageuk and I am overthinking it, but still.

Also, all the bad boys in this drama wear eyeliner. The wigs were really bad!

I was kinda rooting for the evil sister who was trying to girl boss her way into being a queen. All these men plotting against each other to get the throne, the only girl in the family deserved her yass queen moment too.

Really good drama with high production value, amazing acting, aesthetic food and an adorable dog. Loved the chemistry between the actors; the premise for the plot is good.

There are a few things I didn't like: the show starts off with a mystery whether ML and FL are siblings or possible romantic partners, I hate it when shows do this, just tell me if I should be shipping them or not, it was ambiguous for way too many episodes.
This drama would also have been much better if it was like 12 episodes, why does the 16-episode format even exist? Most shows don't have enough momentum to keep the tension for 16 episodes. I would rather have 10 snappy episodes, be sad that is was too short and wish we got to spend more time with the characters, than for the show to drag on unnecessarily.

Also how loaded was the ML, he could afford to rent a restaurant, pay staff and just hang out and cook really expensive food for MONTHS without opening the restaurant. His family looks like they are well off and don't worry about money, but is he that rich? I guess he is a fancy famous chef, but still, he just rents or buys property on a whim.

I would recommend this drama, it is one of the better ones, but it will not become my favorite that I rewatch over and over again. Moon Ga Young is adorable and amazing, just as expected. I didn't like Yoo Jin Goo before this drama, didn't get what people see in him, but now I totally get it, he is such a good actor and actually really handsome. He is reeeeeally good at crying!

Really cool concept! Loved how this drama plays with tropes . I like how confident the FL is, I liked her wholesome friendship with Lee Do Hwa, I liked Rowoon as ML and that he is not technically the main character but he is... I was ready to give it a really high rating, but this drama was waaay too long and just kept dragging on forever in the second half, so many repititions. If this was edited down into like 10 or even 12 episodes, this would have been one of the best dramas of all times :) Great example of why the 16 episode format is too long.

If you only watch shows after all episodes are out, please don't watch this yet, wait for all 12 episodes!!!I hate it when they release shows in two parts, it is not even two seasons, they just chopped one season in the middle with no resolutions.
I don't know how to rate this show. This has no ending, they just made a cut and will release the rest of the season later this year. I wish I knew this, I would have waited for both parts to drop. And now I don't know how to rate it - do I give it the worse rating for the things I thought were not explained at all? But what if they will all tie in together nicely in the second part of the show? Or do I give it the benefit of the doubt and rate it assuming the ending will be good? My point it, it is not a finished season.

Wow this was reeeeally low budget. Couldn't even finish the second episode. It doesn't seem like there is a plot or any chemistry. Holland's music videos have way better acting and Gi Chans other projects are better too. Disappointing, this should have been better. They got Holland for this and did literally nothing with him, what a waste. Very cringe acting from everyone. There are gonna be people who watch this as their first BL and think that this is what the genre is. Blueming and Semantic error were so good, but this? This genre is such a hit and miss this year, I can never predict if these dramas will be amazing or would be unwatchable. And this one is unwatchable.
