10 out of 10. This show is everything - it is every genre, it has every Korean actor and deals with an important topic way better than Tomorrow did. Excellent watch, best k-drama of 2023!
This was not as bad as everyone here is saying. This is a very slow-paced and realistic slice-of-life k-drama about deeply flawed people making bad decisions. If you are looking for a fluffy romcom this is not it. I think the actors did a great job, so many unspoken words and longing glances, beautifully shot. I think this k-drama should have been 10 or max 12 episodes, the same story could have been told in shorter time and still get to the point. But this k-drama is not as bad as a lot of commenters here say, look at it as a tone poem, a bittersweet story about not being able to move on and standing in your own way.
Damn, he's 14?! Already acted in so many iconic dramas! Absolutely loved his role in Death's Game, he absolutely nailed that role - he literally talked and moved like Seo In Guk. That kid is going to OWN the k-drama industry!
Damn, that movie went off the rails, this is not where I thought this plot would go. Pretty solid Korean horror. Major trigger warning about dogs for this movie!
What genre do you like? I love action-comedy and usually recommend "Midnight Runners" to starters since it's hilarious.…
Try "Forgotten" (psychological thriller with an epic plot twist, don't read the synopsis, go in blind!), "The witness" (thriller about doing the right thing) and if you haven't seen Parasite for some reason, watch it too!
Great show, really well made. It handles a lot of very heavy topics, but with a lot of compassion. This show probably needs a trigger warning. The characters are well-written, the production quality is outstanding. The one thing I didn't like is the depiction of borderline, I did expect more from a show that goes out of its way to destigmatize mental health (this is a really short subplot though, and the rest of the show is amazing).
This is an incredibly silly and campy k-drama, but I get what Seo In Guk was going for with this role. This character is kind of like a mix between Saul Goodman and Vincenzo, but not serious. Dropped at episode 6 because I am not that interested in the plot. I hate how the FL was written, she constantly hits the ML (and it is played as a joke). I can't stand when they do this : "strong independent female protagonist" somehow means she is supposed to be aggressive and punching people all the time, that is not what "strong female lead" means, this trope needs to go away. As much as I like Oh Yeon Seo, she was not the right choice for that role, she is so much better in other k-dramas. I am not sure a different actress would do a better job though, because the FL is written as creepy and incredibly annoying.
This k-drama is the definition of "hidden gem" - I have never heard anyone mention it before, I stumbled upon it accidentally. This show is so good, the premise of gods of destiny writing the script to people's lives, and then falling in love with them is brilliant. It also makes fun of the cheesiness of k-dramas. It is really well written, inconsistencies get an explanation, and the plot is surprisingly complex and well thought out for such a short show. They clearly tried giving the show Goblin-vibes, (the mood, the visual references, the way the ML looks and dresses). But it is not a copy, it has its own story. I like what this k-drama tells us about destiny. Super cute watch, highly recommended! This show has completely flown under the radar, I do not understand how this is not recommended more often?!
This is such a wonderfully weird and unique show, I can't believe it has such a low rating. People can't handle k-dramas that are not about a rich CEO who dates a poor humble girl. This should should have been 10 episodes though, so the story can be told properly. It felt like they ran out of budget and time, so the ending was kind of anticlimactic. The School Nurse Files walked so Glitch could run.
Why is the rating so low, I don't get it?! This is a really good show, quite dark. The acting is top notch, it was a very engaging watch, I kept clicking on the next episode. Very well-paced, the character arcs are super interesting, and the way the story goes is quite realistic. Do not trust the low rating!
