Tbh, I think people are upset because every single episode everyone and their mother is trying to attack the female. She never gets a break. It's literally one thing after the other and it's getting annoying. And now on top of that, her maid that she saved is now lusting after her husband? It's very frustrating. And that's most likely why the rating went down. It's sad too because like you said the female lead is amazing and well-written. Additionally, the acting in this drama, in my opinion, is also really good. You can see the emotion clearly conveyed in each actor/actress's eyes. It's just everything else. And this isn't even the half of it because according to those who read the novel, there are more villains' and more bs to come.

Tbh, I think he's being scammed too. I just don't buy this whole "all the male get sick and die" thing. And his sister is super annoying. Their people will definitely suffer if she takes over. She's way too arrogant and can't see the bigger picture to be a ruler. Going to be honest though, I just want the female lead to go home 😂😭I'm tired of the suffering! It's every episode and if it's not her it's the male lead. They don't get a break and we the viewers don't get a break either.

I like him but he also annoys me mainly because he seems to always be there in moments that I feel like the male lead should have been there instead. He seems to be the one that's there just to save the female lead when the male lead can't for some reason and it's starting to annoy me because why is his only purpose saving the female lead?

On the bright side, at least according to the new calendar, they will be getting officially married in episodes 31-32. Then ep 35 is when the gate scene in the end credits happens...that leaves me wondering what's going to occur in the last 5 episodes...will HZQ be sent back to her home?? Hmmm...
