Yes, but in the end Jing was still alive and him and XY still ended up together and CX/XY somewhat repaired their relationship. So I'm sad that they didn't go that route. But I'm glad you and other's enjoyed the lighter ending.

Acting for the cast is 10/10. Just sad that they changed the moment between XY and CX into a dream/tea dream. I was looking forward to that as well as the impact/ripple effect that it was supposed to have. There are other things I disliked about this season but so far, that's my main issue. Still a good s2 though. I rated it 8/10.

I know that. His ending isn't what I have a problem with. I actually liked it as I felt it was a fitting ending. However, the emotions I felt when reading this part in the novel were not the same as what I felt while watching this part in the drama which is why I said it was sad for me because I was looking forward to the same anguish.

No lol. She doesn't know. All she knows is that he died and that he erased the memories of himself that she had. XL went out of his way to make sure that XY didn't know all the things he did. However, it's not as tragic as in the novel...idk the impact wasn't the same for me which was sad because I was looking forward to it. However, others might disagree.

In the novel the do over is real. There is no dream. I think YZ added the dream ending so that the FL and ML could end up together because in the novel they don't.

That's a fair assessment. But tbh, I made my initial comment because people in the comment section in general have been really crazy towards anyone who has a different opinion than them whether it be about shipping or different attributes that each character has and it's annoying. None of these characters are perfect and none of the ships are perfect either. They all have flaws and I just wish people could be normal about it.
Ngl, a lot of you in this comment section are doing too much and it's getting annoying. We do not all have to like the same characters or the same ship. You will not die if someone doesn't like a character you like. Also, just because someone doesn't like XY doesn't automatically make them misogynistic and I say this as someone who likes her character a lot.
