It's very cute and fluffy and the main couple have good chemistry. Lots of the usual annoying Cdrama tropes: jealous evil rival in the workplace, FL with an unrealistic set of skills (she saves the firefighter ML from a burning building herself), FL constantly getting into trouble and then gets rescued by ML, pathetic SML, etc...but so far not unbearable. It's worth watching if you like fluff.

I am loving this fluffy drama, but it requires a lot of suspension of disbelief. But what's even more ridiculous than some of the scenes is the fact that they AI'd Xu Kaicheng's face to make him look like someone else. I could easily tell it was him in all the profile angles. The man cheated on his ex-girlfriend, he didn't commit any actual crime. Is that really such a huge scandal to edit his face out?

I have watched 8 episodes and haven't been motivated to watch more. I've watched to completion all the dramas you listed above, and The Ingenious One is not as compelling. It seems to want to be a revenge story, but it's mired in too many business dealings.

Basically, the adopted daughter goes full psycho from jealousy after her family is reunited with their long-lost biological daughter (FL), ultimately allying with the enemy to bring down her family in a really diabolical way.

I agree. It felt like one continuous music video with some dialogue. If it were 4 minutes, the whole story could still be told and the effect would have been the same.

Qin Ming Yu and Duan Rou 'sconversation in ep28 is the most entertaining scene in the whole drama.

Why do rich people in South Korea always live in homes that look like museums or hotel lobbies?

The grossest was Rebel Princess, where the prince who wanted to marry the FL was her double cousin, i.e. both sets of parents were siblings: queen is sister of her dad, and king is brother of her mom. Yuck.

They never hug when he comes home from work, even after a month apart. In the college flashback, when she sees him at her school, she doesn't hug him, either.

They don't even hug after they see each other after a long time. Sometimes she back hugs him afterwards, but the no hug at greeting is really strange to me.

There are no juicy details, super tame throughout. It's not worth it to bother reading.

The leads of this movie are much better actors than the leads in the drama.

I agree. I didn't expect this drama to be such sweet rom-com/drama based on the poster or the preview on Netflix.
