I am taking back what I wrote before about this show having a budget... its clearly has a limited one. We are on episode 2 and I can already see budget cuts.
If this was reality or a k drama what Style's is doing to Fadel would be classed as harassment and sexual assult.…
I am aware and i really hope fadel will not fall for it... and their romance will be bulid on something stronger than Style stalking. For now Fadel clearly don't care beyond - he is kinda hot.
Well maybe he is a rookie….and he is still is a decent actor and till filming starts he can get better
If he is rookie Gmmtv should not give him leads but side roles (shorter filming time and variety) so he could learn faster. Gawin slowly earned his main roles after learning acting by doing side roles. Leng was handed this role when his acting is subpar while GMMTV have so many good actors. Asking Leng to take his acting lessons seriously is really not that much to ask...
So straight ppl cannot enter queer spaces and write/direct about it, and a Buddhist cannot write about Christianity…
I am agnostic raised by atheists, my number one family rule is : "NEVER EVER be disrespectful toward another person's religious beliefs." People were murdered and started wars due to it. So, I'm afraid I have to disagree with your logic. All religions are complex. They have centuries of tradition and a whole system and value system you just can't comprehend if you are not part of it. Not to mention, Christianity in itself looks very different in various countries. I had a chance to attend church in the USA, Italy, and an Asian country ( in retrospect, I think it was a sect, so I will not name the country), and it was a vastly different experience. So comparing sexuality or disability to it is very disrespectful. I am not saying that you shouldn't write something you don't have first-hand experience in (murders would become so much more common... ) but if you tried to write story with a core about blindness without being blind and having no contact with any blind person to hear them out, it would be something closer to your perception of it than core issue. Real-life problem or Fantasy? You can observe this problem by reading Korean or Japanese novel with European medieval setting, as a history nerd its amazing how a lack of deeper understanding changes the perception of why for example etiquette existed in its form. That why works like Hidamari ga Kikoeru hit just differently, you can feel an overwhelming amount of real-life problems you wouldn't even think about. I will also add, I don't have a problem with Aof doing religious BL, how long he put effort and time in it and do it right. The Pilot also mentioned a 'real life story' so if gmmtv is twisting the truth I will be between disappointed as hell and mad state. Mostly because I expect so much better from him. That why I wrote my original comment.
I'm pretty sure he's a Christian, I saw him post about going to church at Christmas (Instagram)
I really hope he is, religion is a very tricky and touchy subject so if he was only doing it because he got 'inspired' i would lose all respect i have for him
