to get some actors you want you get some that you are not that interested into... I think It was director New…
Both. Splitting official merch selling ship is no-no. In last year lineup there was ship where Director really wanted one of them so he adjusted other role to fit ship-parter. While even if you get ship you want, you usually get ok but you also need to take actor C and D and give them side roles.
you just sold it to me, my biggest reason for not watching it yet was New
Thank you. Absolutely not New work is something that sound watchable. His works since he stopped being starving artist become super lazy and unwachable.
The trailer seems surprisingly interesting and gives of different vibe compared to the usual gmmtv rom-com. I still doubt gmmtv long-term vision but this could be really good drama.
It was very good, I don't understand why everyone is hating
people come for action packed bl - was served Rom-com expected good script - series lost plot we were told Leng is very talented actor - got clearly newbie acting there are other things too but It all about expectations vs what we actually got
to get some actors you want you get some that you are not that interested into... I think It was director New…
Bingo, you want one of them ? you need to find space for another. I will not point who because it was my guess after hearing director comment, but to get popular ship director got 2 newbies that gmmtv wanted to promote...
I just finished the first episode. Pros and cons that I think will be reflected in the remaining episodes:Pros:First…
to get some actors you want you get some that you are not that interested into... I think It was director New who said it in interview few years ago. But rewatch Dunk scenes, Jojo really tried with editing
you are in luck, because in recent interview their bahevior hinted to them having another project together. how long they didn't play mind games with us - we are safe on that front
Since everyone doesn't discuss show can I ask if someone heard any trustworthy leaks about the upcoming Gmmtv Lineup? From what I heard: - 9 BL and 2 GL - gmmtv filmed pilot to period BL about 3 brothers - Gmmtv bought the right to more Japanese shows to do remakes
I was so bored throughout the series that it's not even funny. I watched it to support Leng as a new actor. He…
No. Leng need to do several side roles with as much diversity as possible so he can gain experience. Giving him another main will not change much. this director wasn't even bad and covered a lot of his acting missteps...
Wait..Does it take more money to make a bl series than non bl series?
Its depend on genre, action scenes, special effect, CGI cost extra, so series with them from get go are more expensive.
But BL are usually pretty cheap to make which is why so many started popping out in recent years. My comment was about promotion, gmmvt spend money to lunch their ships, there are songs, lessons, promotions, advertising, merch, activities etc. It all cost money.
Usually series itself don't bring that much money or are even in negative cost-wise, real money come from merch, ads, actors activities and fan meeting they do due to popularity of the series.
But if series end and ships don't sail no one would buy their merch or pay them appearance fee which should sink some GMMTV ships. I will no name who but there are ships that have almost 0 ads or paid appearances when their series don't air. So why gmmtv still spend money on promoting them .... who know
All while SkyNani without Gmmtv ship promotion sail comfortably and are one of most looking forward potential pair for next lineup. I can already imagine someone in GMMTV office being confused why pair that didn't even kissed is more popular than some existing ships with dedicated dramas to them.
What? Ohm has 0 responsibility due to GMMTV decisions.Leng could barely act out the script he got - that was adjusted…
yup, they also almost never recast actors. So if it's turn out actor is unable to act that character or is simple unsuited for the role they continue with them and start gutting script/ original book to better suit actor. So change of characters personalities, plot alternations etc... which fuel already existing bad writing problem of gmmtv
I just can't πππ GMMTV spent a massive amount of money to launch some ships that are close to sinking While Sky Nani casually sail with the power of fans alone πππ

No he don't because when he accept they don't even exist. Following few GMMTV director give me some insight how their process go. They hold a meeting where they choose ideas / books / outline of scripts for pilots. Some of potential show gets rejected, after they cherry-pick best ones they cast actors for pilots they plan to show on lineup. Casting is separate topic basing on who actor or ship is. Then they film pilots ( it takes them usually less than 2 days) , after lineup they start REAL work on script, get budget and cast rest of actors. Then its workshop time when actors finally get to see full show script.
So as i wrote above Ohm only saw pilot /idea outline and who director was before shooting pilot.
this remind me of vice versa (still pissed off), didn't release a box set too T_T -
VV flopped. This show also flopped. If you check interview with gmmtv CEO you will see they started basing show success on engagement (views, comments, numbers of Instagram/X followers etc) TBH I am more interested why some actors are given more main roles despite flopping while other are put in basement waiting for a better time.
I get what you mean, but after thinking about it I like this NC scene more and more. Before we only saw FK do…
same but Jojo put some though in it. At least I believe in it π as for Dunk, he for sure improved from his last series. But he still have his bad acting moments π especially in his scenes with J. i think more experienced actors push him more in right direction, while Dunk learn more from them
