Only For Love is not perfect but what cdrama is? For all its flaws, OFL is no less perfect than many cdramas with higher ratings but for some reason, its flaws are being exaggerated. The "no plot" complaint is plain ridiculous, it's not worth discussing. Dragging? I can count with one hand cdramas I did NOT find dragging. No chemistry? If viewers are not so hung up on their favorite cps and not prejudiced against some actors here, they'd feel it.

Basically, production teams need to pay yxh and water armies so their dramas wouldn't get mailgned and get low scores. That is, if you don't give in to blackmail, settle for low scores.

she probably thinks she's so smart when she evades, lies and sugarcoats. but i really like how this drama seems to be making her pay for this misconception. i've been getting concerned about female leads in other cdramas lying through their teeth and getting away with it
After all these episode the only thing i can say is FL is not made for the ML.....ML deserves a much genuin person…
yup, I think she loves Shi Yan and doesn't know how to deal with it. She wasn't in love with Xing Zhou. She actually treated him horribly, missing his birthday and treating him like a driver

You're so right. i think she got too self-confident, thinking she can get away with anything because she's smart, she can make excuses at the drop of a hat and that's because she's a compulsive liar. And she really has no consideration for others. Take the case of when Shi Yan went to visit her at Qing'an. Because she got scared he'd probe her about what happened with Xhing Zhou and Le zhi, she excused herself from his company, lied she had a prior commitment with Shi Yue, and left Shi Yan to fend for himself at Qing'an.

I think Shi Yan just had it with her lies and is too heartbroken to be able to take more of them. Perhaps he was apprehensive he won’t be able to control himself and break down in front of her in public. In any case, he thinks she still likes her ex, so perhaps he is also giving her space to think things through

i think that's the main issue here. People have expectations and stereotypes and have a hard time letting go. That's one thing that boggles my mind about cdrama viewers. They want a drama to be similar to one they liked before and when the new drama deviates from their expectation, they'd complain. For example, a lot of viewers here expect the story and cast to be the same as Life is Sweet. Why don't they just rewatch the old drama? Do they really want to be watching the same stories and characters? Don't they want their favorites actors to grow in their craft and tackle new characters? It boggles the mind.

truly and I think a lot of it stemmed from her tendency to lie. she got confused within herself because there are always two conflicting scenarios in her head - reality and the lie.
