After all these episode the only thing i can say is FL is not made for the ML.....ML deserves a much genuin person…
it seems viewers have forgotten or probably skipped the scenes, but for all her immaturity, Shu Yi is fundamentally a good person. She is hard-working, she does not accept bribes, she does not fight back Yuling's dirty tricks with dirty tricks of her own, she's a good daughter and like Shiyan, she wants to do something to benefit society like upgrading the online magazine.
Oh yes I forgot about that. That was truly heartbreaking. She deserves the treatment she is getting from him
i think he sensed she wavered at a question that somebody who was truly in love shouldn’t have done. but he still accepted her answer. he knew how flaky she could be. what he couldn’t accept was her using him to get back at her ex. he interpreted that as her still having some feelings for the guy.
If you think this is top entertainment and its making up worlds in people mind, then you are wrong "Love is Sweet"…
them lacking chemistry is your own opinion because i and a lot of other viewers have been feeling it since they met. you might want to curb your prejudice against dylan too as you seem quite hung up on LIS thus can’t accept this new pairing
The problem is that, many of the novels still follow this type of structure. It's like, the naive FL will met…
yup, viewers probably expected her to be mature coz she is a career girl. That was what I thought so too. The "flirty female lead" tag had intrigued me from the start. And that did make all the difference. Her decision to flirt sprung from immaturity. Perhaps she thought she was being sophisticated. but using and toying with people could only be done by immature and selfish characters.
rewatch… is better the second time. you don’t have to focus on the plot instead focus on the characters. i…
I'm liking the drama better during rewatch - i'm noticing more details that I didn't notice before because there were many details to watch out for to fully understand and enjoy the story, including the talks about millimeter wave chips technology. This is a big deal in tech world right now and Shi Yan being interested in going into this field shows what a visionary he is. To really understand his character is to understand what he is into.
What impressed me most was Shi Yan's intelligence and business acumen. The way he dealt with Mr. Tian and other business associates, as well as during his interview with Yi Yang at the chips conference, he sounded logical, mature and diplomatic. I was too mesmerized by his appearance the first time around 😄 I didn't notice how powerfully he delivered his lines. Dylan did justice to this formidable character.

if an immature FL is common in cdramas, why are viewers mad at Shu Yi? she's just sticking to the conventional FL role then. was there an expectation that the FL is going to be mature from the get go?
Her using Shi Yan to get the online magazine upgrade going was already a sticky point between them. Has she forgotten…
Actually, that made it exceedingly more interesting for me. because it showed how flawed the FL is. She's got an EQ of a 10 ten year old. But I had already gotten drawn to her so I really really would like to see how she would manage a climb to maturity that suddenly got steeper than I thought it was.
I'm finally doing it. I'm watching ep 28 AND SHUYI WHY WOULD YOU BRING UP WORK IN YOUR APOLOGY LIKE YOU WERE ACTUALLY…
Her using Shi Yan to get the online magazine upgrade going was already a sticky point between them. Has she forgotten how mad he was when she blurted out her new year's wish for the success of the project instead of a wish for their relationship? Mentioning the collaboration right after Shi Yan finds out about the second time she used him is worse than splashing water on a drowning dog or adding insult to injury. Shu Yi can really be clueless 🤨
getting the series of interiews for the online version of their magazine. that's the career path she was more…
it was her dream to upgrade the online magazine, to advance to that area of their business, and she used Shi Yan to get the interviews that would attract viewers to their site. whether the experiment is successful or not is immaterial, and nobody could have foreseen, least of all her, that she would pull herself away from the project. but her original intention remains - use Shi Yan to realize her dream.
Is there a rule in cdramas that lead characters cannot be immature? In fact, that's one thing that intrigued me about the story. The FL is not the conventional type of sensible and mature FL. Her journey to maturity is a big piece of the plot. That's how the character has been written.
So if the characters are acting immature, that's because they're supposed to feel, get confused, get angry, like, you know, how real people go.
And if you're getting mad at their immaturity, then the drama and actors are doing their jobs. They're getting you to care about the characters and the story.
In This Drama Writers And Diractor Both are fucking stupid person ever in this drama many fault I tell You.1>…
seems like the only important thing for you is the kissing. while this drama does have sweet kissing scenes and chemistry between leads if one is open enough to feel it, it has way MORE SUBSTANCE than just kissing scenes. so just enjoy your fave drama

advancement in that she is advancing to a path she'd always wanted to take in her career. in fact, if her employer is forward-thinking, they'd realize that's the future of print media
I was just about to write about this scene. 💔I couldn’t feel Shuyi’s love for Shi Yan. Shi Yan's love is…
she keeps insisting she's not interested in him though, she's just too nice to be rude to him. in addition, she can't burn bridges for professional reasons
AAAAAA 😤😫the screenwriter totally damage FL character.....in novel i feel sad for shuyi but in drama they…
There were two reasons: for career advancement, so she can get the cover page article and the series of interviews for her online magazine. This is the reason Shi Yan knew and accepted. The second reason was the revenge part which Shi Yan didn't know.
if you're going to attack a drama, at least watch it first. the ML had a girlfriend before he met the FL.
ikr, when we say something positive about the drama, we get all sorts of snide remarks, even accused of blindly admiring the actors and not having critical thinking. Why would I say otherwise when I can see the plot, feel the chemistry, and not feel it's dragging? And we are called undemocratic too, when we try to defend the drama. Don't we also have the right to say our piece?
Shiyan’s car was at the hospital where Shuyi saw her ex w/ mistress. Shiyan was at home. So some of us think…
Shi Yan's problem is that he doesn't know if Shu Yi really likes him. He lamented, "it wasn't me you were after". He thinks Shu Yi still likes her ex-bf
