I think my problem is the lack of information on what she knows because at the moment her response is extreme to me. They didn't do anything wrong that she is aware so far. I'm not sure how much Jun knows and how much he told the mom e.g. whether he is aware that the step-mom actually lives there

I wasn't a huge fan of hyesung at the beginning but she has been growing on me with each episode. She won me over this week though. Her storyline was the most heartbreaking this week (Although, watching Woojoo sob at the end was hard to watch because we haven't seen her cry like that before). It was good to get insight into some the internal battles she's been facing.

Joon's family dynamic shocked me. The detachment was so uncomfortable to watch. l felt like Hyesung who had know idea how to act during the meal. It was also nice to see more of his vulnerable side afterwards.

Lastly, poor Woojoo 😭😭😭. I almost started crying with her. It's going to be okay... i hope.

Righhtt!! I'm sooo confused about the mother's behaviour. She's been absent for most of the show and now she is proclaiming that the siblings should consider her dead. What?!! Why - because they didn't tell her their family home got taken away from them (they had 2 days to pack up!). It's not adding up to me. Who even knows how much she knows. How much did Joon share 🤨. I don't trust him anymore. Like does she know that the step-mom is now living at their house. I can't even imagine how she would react to Woojoo's blooming relationship with Dongjin.

In terms of the will, for sure, something shady went down because why has heeja hidden it. I don't even believe the husband/dad left the house to her. He definitely left something for the kids (well, at least i hope so) . Also, so far, we've heard the story about the parent's messy split from mostly Woojoo's perspective. I feel like there is soo much information missing. Like why did their dad and heeja take a huge sum of money with them. One last thing, for some reason i'm starting to think that the dad was sending money to the kids all those years. Idk though, he could have also just been a douchebag.

I'm a little confused with the ending of ep10. Could someonecplease clarify the following questions I have:
1. Why were the siblings apologetic towards theirvmom? Am i wrong in thinking they didn't do anything wrong, except maybe not informing their mom that the house is no longer theirs?
2. Why did their mom proclaim that her children are now orphans? Is she disowning them for keeping the secret about the family home?
Or are we meant to be confused loll because of the lack of information?

These last two episodes were soooo goood. All those moments between Woojoo and Dongjin were adorable ahhhhh. Their awkwardness and glances at each other were cute to watch. I was soaking all their cuteness in cos I knew that shit was going to hit the fan once Woojoo's secret is revealed. Although, I was cautious that she would suddenly (although, not officially together) break up with Dongjin. She was telling Joon one thing and then doing the complete opposite. I was a little confused with where her head was at and wishfully hoping she would ignore Joon's pleads and continue spending time with Dongjin.
I love Dongjin's boldness now that he is confident Woojoo reciprocates his feelings (after the stone incident). He really does seem like a different person now. I can't believe he actually took Woojoo camping with him. I had hoped for this but i didn't expect it to happen in ep10.
The ending of ep10 made me sooo anxious for what is to come. Ngl, I had completely forgot about the sibling's mother cos I had been too focused on the irritating step-mom - ughhh. Somone in the comments made an interesting point about their mother. I had only thought about the step-mom being an obstracle in the main leads blooming relationship, but i didn't even considered what their mom would think and how she would react because she has been sooo absent from the show up until now. She will definitely dissapprove and i'm not quite sure how the main leads are going to overcome it, especially as Woojoo is quite family-oriented and i assume values her mom's opinion. I doubt she would continue seeing Dongjin if it meant jeopardising her relationship with her mom. Alothough, you never know... we haven't seen much of the siblings dynamic with their mom. But from what we saw at the end of ep10, they were submissive and even apologetic to her soooo it isn’t looking too hopeful. I sense ALOT of heartache in the upcoming episodes 😭😭. I just hope it ends on a happy note🤞🏼

Yh, I've seen them. I was talking about future episodes (beyond ep 7 and 8). It looks like for this week Dong Jin doesn't meet up with Woojoo and find outr about her identity because she is too busy messing up her previous and yelling at the step-mom. Hence, why i think the step-mom will be the one to piece it all together eventually and break the news in future episodes to him to be spiteful.

I was the same. I like depressive dramas but recently I hadn't been in the mood for anything heavy. Light and fluffy all the way!!! However, I love this show and I look forward to it every week. I think the first two episodes were definitely draggy and the overall pace of the show is quite slow but I don't mind that too much as it fits the mood of the show.

Reasons to watch the show:
1. Honestly, I would watch it for the main leads (and Woojoo's siblings). I think the main leads are very interesting and complex characters ,and it's so far it's been nice to peel back a layer of their character each week.
(For now, I would just ignore the step-mom as she is quite one-dimensional rn and low-key irrelevant. Obviously, her actions have had catastrophic effects but you can and should ignore her outside the problems she has caused. Well, that's if you don't want to get irritated by her each week)
2. I'm also loving the current dynamic between the main leads. Their awkwardness makes them soocute to watch. Again, the romance is a little slow but I didn't watch it for the romance, plus we haven't yet reached the 8 episode mark loll
3. Woojoo and Sung Joon platonic relationship. It's refreshing to see on-screen.
4. The blooming romance between the second leads. Again, not much has happened there but there is definitely an attraction there from both sides.

I recommend reading some of the recap/reviews on dramabeans to find out whether it's worth watching. Also, a big shout out to Dramaddictally who really verbalizes the beauty of the show in the recaps.

Yes, it seems that way. At first, I thought it would be revealed straight away but after around episode 3-4 I realised they would probs drag it along to be a perfect "obstacle" in their relationship once it's established. I hate to see it, but it is what it is. Part of me thinks he wouldn't mind that Woojoo is the girl he has been looking for and another part of me thinks this could be seen as a huge betrayal of trust in his eyes, sighhhh. I also suspect his mom will be the one to the break news to him about Woojoo's identity :((. Let's see what happens...

Nope. I also thought it was strange that the main leads had never met before, even in their teens, but then again the separation between Woojoo's parents wasn't amicable and Dong Jin has a strained relationship with is mom so it's quite possible they didn't meet before. Although, the show could be deceiving into thinking this is the case. Anyways, for now we are supposed to believe that they had never met prior where the show starts and only Woojoo knows about her connection to him via his mom/her step-mom.

Oh wow. I didn't realise that she plays the ex. This will definitely be interesting because from the posters I was under the impression that she will be a love interest for Yoon Joon. I guess from what we have seen so far, from the ML's perspective, she could be considered a "bad" guy. They are hinting that she betrayed him in some way, although ML is definitely missing some information about break-up.
