The red sleeve . I haven't finished it yet but it meets your requirements. I think it might have a sad ending…
Ahhh. I'm watching it right now and I love it. I'm looking forward to what is in store. Sorry, I couldn't give more recs since I'm quite new to sageuks
Always knew it would not be a happy ending. Making one totally unbelievable would have been worse.
Interesting. I used to judge tv shows based on their ending but i have stopped doing that now. I have learnt to enjoy the progression of the show from ep 1. In cases like this where i start to lose interest or like the direction the show is taking, i choose to decide my own ending - wherever i choose to stop becomes the ending for me regardless of what actually happens afterwards. That way i can still treasure the moments/episodes i liked about the show and also don't waste hrs of my life loll. (I have learnt this the hard way) The actual ending doesnโt tarnish my view of the show because i haven't watch it.
That being said i did watch the ending of this show. This last ep particularly frustrated me because they really gave us nothing. I guess you could interpreted the ending as a happy one. Idk. I was a litle confused tbh because ML said he didn't forget anything after going up thr Hill of Oblivion. Imo it would have made more sense if he said yes he had because that would indicate that they have left their regrets and what ifs behind them and will start afresh in a new relationship. Anways, this show is BIG reminder to not watch ongoing shows.
For people who have been asking, the song for the end of ep1, 2, 3 has been released. ๐ค It's called Dice Game - Yoari (https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=QLlFdTazqto). How fitting :)
As a member of the Comment Reading Association (CRA), I was only here to read some comments. Then, while reading…
Well said !!
Lol I thought FL's behaviour in regards to the ML is the norm in real life. I'm baffled to read that some people think her actions don't make sense. There are soo many people who ghost others for less. I think it's important to mention that there is a difference between what is realistic and what is right. I think how the FL responded was realistic given her circumstance and how she interpreted the situation based on her lived experience. However, overall, I don't think it was the right response and she could have and should have handled the situation differently. In the same way, ML could have and should have handled being rejected in a cold manner differently. However, his response was also realistic. Some people don't know how to handle rejection well especially when strong feelings involved. I don't any of this makes them terrible people. Itโs just that human emotions are complex.
I think some people should generally just stop the blame game if they want to enjoy the show. The situation is an unfortunate one that could have been avoided (like many in real life), however, we are here now and let's be honest if it didn't happen then there would be no drama and therefore no need for 16 episodes. It honestly really matter who is in right. They've both made mistakes. In real life, we wouldn't have the insight and big picture that we fortunately have as the audience so if you were in either of their situations/positions your actions might seem justifiable to you.
Interesting that you think there appears to be no future for them at this point. I thought differently while watching these last two episodes. In fact, now i think there are a much better match for each other. Initially, when i started the show i thought ML is a good match with either FL or SFL and i thought the FL is a good match for either ML or SML. However, what changed my view is ML's reason for liking FL vs SFL's reason for liking ML. To me, this highlighted that whilst on the surface ML and 2FL would seem to be a good pair (as stated numerous times by their work colleagues), and FL and 2ML would also be a good pair because their similiar percieved social status, at a much deeper level FL and ML, leaving social status aside, have much more in common. I guess their main problem is communication. Also, 2FL's mum's interactions with ML's mum showed exactly why it wouldn't work between 2FL and ML. Imo, there is a reason ML's mum lied about the branch her son works at.
i am definitely still rooting for the main couple, but i do hope this drama /genuinely/ focuses on their growth…
Same. I think the second leads are a good match for them for different reasons. They can relate to them in many ways because their similiar lived experiences.
Here I thought that I was the one that enjoyed the tension between the main leads loll (at least for now). It makes the show more interesting.
I would absolutely love for the show to focus on their individual growth (same for the second leads). There is alot of pain that the main leads (ML and SL) keep locked away that should be addressed. They each need time to heal, especially the FL. Although, the FL looks like she is dire need of a friend so I wouldn't mind them healing while being in a relationship, despite that not being the best place to start one.
From the preview, it looks like the next few episodes will be about the main leads getting to know the second leads better. There will likely be more misunderstandings especially with where the ML romantically stands with the 2FL which will make FL seek comfort in 2ML as she has no friends. And this in turn might make the 2ML think that she reciprocates his feelings when, in fact, all she really needs right now is a friend. I think 2ML reminds her too much of her brother for much to come about with their relationship. Unfortunately, I don't see ML and FL getting together until at least the 8th episode but I'm here for the emotional ride.
Help I want to start the drama but seeing the comments I am seeing the fighting between SFL and Fl fans
Haha. You should start it yourself and come to your own conclusion. I personally like them both. They are quite different from each other but neither are bad people at the moment.
People are being way too harsh on the FL. The way she is treated is absolutely heartbreaking abd actually makes…
Agreed. I am starting to not like the ML. You are completely right - he is way to passive about the toxic work culture for someone who likes the FL. It's very uncomfortable to watch. Although, i'm not sure if he stays quiet because he doesn't want to exacerbate the situation. That aside, as a man in the office, he does have the power to approach them in private about their behavior. In the preview for next week's episode, it looks like he still isnโt discouraging 2FL flirtatious remarks. I'm not sure if he is just too "nice" to say he isnโt interested and wants to maintain their friendship from college days, BUT it is starting to get annoying. He needs to be clear with 2FL if he truly wants to show that he is serious about the FL
He was running to meet her and he said he was sorry to be late. How he hesitated?
I think you misunderstood me. I don't think he has done anything terrible to her, and certainly not on his way to the 2nd date. But obviously, something happened on his way to the restaurant. Hence the expression on her face changing. And just to repeat myself, I DON'T think that something was anything terrible.
Look when you say nothing happened that would imply he literally when from point A to B. However, we now know isn't the case. He stopped at some point and did something. Again, not anything terrible related to a crime. However, enough for her to get upset and leave. Imo, she had grounds to leave from the moment he was late with no text. He was over an hour late!!! Idk about you, but I would have left after around the 30 min mark with no text. I don't think he is a liar but I think he has supressed whatever happened and it's probably related to some trauma. His face said it all at the end of episode 3 when she asked him the question about what happened. The 1st episode was completely from ML's POV and there is a reason the scene was edited to make it seem like he ran straight from the office to the restaurant because in his mind that is what happened.
Btw, when I said the ML has done more wrong than FL, I am not talking about the 2nd date fiasco. I'm referring to his desperate and stalkerish actions afterwards. Very big red flags if this was real life. That all being said, I still like the ML and hope he has a happy ending. In fact, I am rooting for all of them to have a happy ending.
You keep asking me to see things from ML's POV. How about you try seeing things more objectively. Have you actually tried looking at things from FL's POV?
