Uhh… most C-dramas are 30+ episodes long and have almost no intimacy, but I do agree that more adult-oriented/serious…
There was only one scene where I wondered how they got away with it. The other ones were „just“ kisses. Intimate scenes are not per se forbidden in C dramas and I must the intimate scenes in WDBTD were extremely well choreographed. I usually don’t look for steamy scenes in a drama but in that drama it was very beautiful and fitting.
Luo Wensong is the most interesting character so far. From how he talked to his little brother before that one left for the capital, to his passion for ink making, to his intelligent comments to LZ and to the elders… I hope he returns.
They are both fantastic actors and completely invested in their characters which create this fantastic chemistry!
I don’t think you can create spectacular chemistry only by acting. Good chemistry yes, but for that certain spark there needs to be a bit of natural chemistry too imo.
The young versions of the two Luo brothers were so precious!
Yes! It was a beautiful scene when the older brother „explained“ to the little one about going to the capital and broadening his horizons etc. well done!
