Luke yelling at her was wrong but at the same time I think in a relationship you both should not keep secrets…
Absolutely agreed. Everyone here attacks him without considering her faults. I wonder if people would react like this if Luke was a woman and Tao a man.
I actually enjoyed seeing the three of them interact like that. It reassured Tao that there isn't anything between…
Yes that was some very needed „normal“ time for Luke and Tao Tao and I also enjoyed watching that. Also when she teased him a bit about talking to his fish. They were more on an equal level there.
He is a red flag in other aspects tho. In the recent episode he told his parents he’a dating her because she’s…
He was messing with his parents. How should he respond to this kind of father. The mother means well but she’s too nosey for this early stage of a relationship.
I‘m quite positive that „her understanding will not be his character development“. If it’s something like…
The way I understood it you removed the physical attractiveness for your experiment, not the aura and his character traits. So a man who has an ordinary face but who has the same aura. Otherwise it would be a different story you’re telling. It’s their contrasting auras that attract each other. And that would work perfectly well with an ordinary face if everything else remains the same.
So far he’s not really supposed to have character development because that’s still the pre-breakup period. We‘ll see how it turns out after that. But witnessing the trend in cdramas I‘m a bit afraid of what they will do.
Now that The Early Spring has reached its halfway point, I keep coming back to a slightly unfair thought experiment.…
I‘m quite positive that „her understanding will not be his character development“. If it’s something like that then it’ll rather be him who will learn to read and understand her better and act accordingly. After all that’s what most people want to see. I hope they won’t change him too much because I quite like him the way he is. Also I think this exact same story would work very well with a rather average looking man as long as he has the same aura and gives the same kind of looks with his eyes. Because that’s what makes the intense chemistry - their different auras that get drawn to each other. Of course he still would need to be on the more athletic side and be clean and dress well, because that’s part of his character too. Also, the unconventional arrangements in romantic dramas you are suggesting - I think almost no one would want to see that because at the end of the day fiction is fiction and real life is real life, even if they must overlap a bit of course for fiction to be relatable enough.
Honestly, LN is not a bad person or boyfriendits just that their personality difference requires him to change…
I feel like LN and his childhood friend have no romantic chemistry at all. They are really like good friends who grew up together and therefore are on the same wavelength.
Maybe every watcher sees what they’re able to see or what they want to see. I can well imagine that many superficial viewers just watch because he’s hot. From the very beginning I couldn’t understand those „ah he’s a red flag but he’s hot“ comments. I don’t see the red flag. I see two very flawed characters who take decisions and actions according to the reality they live in, according to their past experiences, to their assumptions etc It’s really very interesting watching them and I hope the character development will be done well and not just turn her into a FL who tramples over him and him into a ML who rolls over and plays dead, like many cdramas do these days.
Still, it’s not a red flag criterion for me.

Let’s ignore the haters! I‘m gladly part of the millions 😂
