Same here, I love equal power couples, and even if a story is female centric I want to see a strong ML with his own story and own agenda.

I‘m afraid that most people seem to define romance by skinship. But skinship without feelings is no romance, so the central part of romance will always be the emotions. And there were plenty here. Plus imo there were several tension loaded moments 🔥
So I really don’t know what people want.

The teaser looked promising. Hopefully it’s better than Pursuit of Jade and they don’t butcher the ML character again as they did in PoJ.

Agreed about QF, she gave me some frustrating moments.

For me the side stories were not very interesting, the 2nd couple got better/more interesting later on. But I enjoyed the dynamics between our leads immensely! I actually had to laugh out so many times, but I also enjoyed their serious talks, I enjoyed their romance, which for me was obvious almost from the beginning. If by ep 6 you don’t enjoy the couple’s interactions then the drama will probably not „improve“ for you.

I agree LYF feels like this character is closest to TJC! And I definitely cannot imagine anyone else playing this character. It’s a very difficult character to portray imo.
