He was acquitted of all charges and his accusers spent jail time for blackmail.
?? Source material? Park Yoo Chun didn't just have 1 accuser, he had 4.

Yoo Chun was ordered to pay 1 of his victims and he completed his final payment to her Feb. 3, 2021, which now allows him the ability to commence working again.

As to the victim he was ordered to pay, SK Supreme Court ruled that her accusations had merit regardless of whether or not the prosecutors had enough evidence to convict Yoo Chun or not.

Thank you! These are some much-needed reported information (there are probably more) that people should know before…
I'm not here to give an opinion or judge at all. I keep those personal thoughts to my Friends Feed & private conversations. All that matters to me is that people not provide false information. I also think that people not a party to this man or his drama should be left out of the discussion no matter how similar you think they are.

I think conveying the idea that Park Yoo Chun is innocent is false. It doesn't at all fit the facts of the story. The SK Supreme Court ruled that the 1 woman who accused him had merits in her accusations. Mediation court ordered Yoo Chun to pay her a sum of money as his victim. Park completed paying her the court ordered amount on Feb. 3, 2021, thus, resolving his legal obligation to her for his illegal conduct, period. That he has paid his fees, resolved his issues with his victims, & completed his probationary period due to his drug related charges, he is afforded the ability to come out of "retirement" and commence his work.

How you FEEL about it and whether you support that he paid his dues, or not and whether or not that will affect whether you watch anything he will be related to in the future is purely each individuals personal decisions, and, in that, there is no right or wrong, just a difference of opinion. But we should be making those decisions based in FACTS not fabrications of story.

Okay. There really is a lot of disinformation here. There are people who are claiming the situation for Park Shi Hoo was worse and that Park Yoo Chun was acquitted of assault charges and “the” woman who “accused” him went to jail. I think there are a LOT of people mixing up stories etc. here.

First off, I don’t know why you need to drag other people into this story but in the case of Park Shi Hoo, he sued his former agency’s CEO, his accuser, & her friend of blackmail. The accuser dropped the charges after he did this. He left his agency, end of story. One of our MDLers wrote a synposis of what went down at the early part so you can read that for the real time info to clear your minds:

In Park Yoo Chun’s case, he was accused of sexually assaulting women in the bathroom of a gentlemen’s club. There were 4 women in total that accused him. It was said at the time that the police would acquit him of the charges, and I think that’s where most people dropped caring about it. In fact, on this matter, in 2016 the accusers claimed there were incidents dating back from 2014, as well as the 2016 incident, regarding the assaults. The court ordered him to pay $56m KRW or the equivalent of $50K USD to 1 of the assault victims.

[Edit: As to those saying the court has jailed or charged any of his victims with false statements, etc., if you read the article below from Yonhap News Agency it is noted that "...Park lodged a false accusation complaint against A but the Supreme Court acquitted her last year saying her claim was not groundless..." So, anyone making any other statement contradicting this is providing you FALSE information.]

Park Yoo Chun would not be able to return to entertainment until he paid her completely, which he made his final payments to her on Feb 3rd, 2021. He took a long time due to his issues with drugs and I assume his rich family did not want to cover for him or something like that. But this is part of the reason why he is able to resume. Which is totally different than Park Shi Hoo who never “retired” working like Yoo Chun did, he just went to China until public sentiment blew over.

In addition to this, Park Yoo Chun was accused of drug abuse during the Burning Sun scandal by his then girlfriend and she was the one who dragged Yoo Chun into the fray by making accusations towards his abuse. He was later ordered to submit to drug testing in which he failed. He was given probation and a fine

For me, on the drug charges, I think it was the best thing to ever happen to him. His meth addiction was classically horrible. I remember seeing pics of him at a animal shelter fundraising event caring for animals and he was in shorts. The sores etc on his legs were festering and, being an American who grew up in Long Beach, CA, I was well aware the classic indications of a meth addict trying to find a good vein to inject. Without help for his addiction, who knows where he’d be now. He was obviously not in a physically good state so these charges could very well have saved his life.

Maybe the pressure of being out of work and the assault cases got to him, but he had a severe problem and even now, with only a few years of sobriety, if he’s even been sober, I wonder his ability to handle the pressure of entertainment again so early.

I’m not passing judgment on either of these men. The courts are the ones to do that. I’m just giving you the facts so you can all be clear what you’re complaining about.

Thank you for this details! Really appreciate! But could you hide this as a spoiler? Thanks!!
Ummm. NO. I’m not gonna hide it as a *spoiler*. I haven’t even watched the movie, so how could THIS be a spoiler? I don’t know how much of the truth of what happened is told in this movie. The movie is based on a true story. THIS IS THE TRUE STORY. The movie itself may or may not represent *exactly* the irl story in this movie. The names of the main characters involved in the irl story are not even the same as the movie. I don’t have a clue since, again, I haven’t seen it. But since it’s BASED ON A TRUE STORY, this isn’t a spoiler because anyone watching this already should know this & should know what happened irl.

So, again, I appreciate the sentiment of not wanting your surprise or shock about what happens in the movie to be *spoilt* but what I wrote doesn’t have a thing to do with the movie. It’s the end result of what happened irl. So, thank you too.

Chang Po-sheng gets 4 1/2 years for 20 years worth of harm to dozens of children, and he's appealing it? It's confirmed he committed a total of 32 sexual assaults or incidences of sexual harassment, with a total of 31 victims identified. Plus, it's note he was involved in an additional nine cases where he issued inappropriate physical punishments to 29 students, in addition to other misconduct.

The 17 individuals still employed as educators, including a school principal and homeroom teachers, were aware of Chang's misconduct but failed to notify related authorities in a timely manner and have only been punished with reprimands and request to turn in any teaching awards + bonuses they received.

And the children? They will forever be emotionally and sexually scarred individual's for life, likely requiring some kind of therapy just to be able to have any trusting intimate relationships, especially with people of authority.

The world is so backwards, it's incredible.

1. Cousin doctor is in a profession forced on him by his parents that he didn't want to be doing in the first…
Whelp, I never even went that direction.

"Why really?"

Because it kinda rubbed me wrong, in that, I was being questioned for my accuracy when I have already posted multiple times that I pulled the info from the drama's info data pages. Of course, since many don't care to translate Chinese, or the "digging so deep", I was a bit taken aback that my words weren't being trusted... but I provided the link so, everyone can have the confirmation that I'm not just pull information out of my ass.

Title To My Star Spoiler
Can someone explain why Ji Woo left in ep 7, I'm still confused was it because of the picture or his feelings?…
It was Ji Woo's friend and employer, Kim Hyung Ki, that was going to get Seo Joon in trouble. The reason Kim Hyung Ki was going to give up the pic to the Dispatch people was for money to cover his dad's debt and keep the restaurant afloat.

Firstly, Ji Woo left so that they wouldn't ever be caught together again, to further fuel the papz idea that he's in a relationship with Seo Joon. He didn't want to be thrown in with this kind of rumor/publicity.

He also asked Kim Pil Hyun to give him his deposit key money on the apartment.

Secondly, the next morning Ji Woo goes to Kim Hyung Ki's house to see that it's been locked off by the debt collectors. So, he calls him to come out. He offers to initially pay him $20k, likely the key money from the apartment, to cover and pay for any of Kim Hyung Ki's emergency debts. Ji Wo did that to protect Seo Joon from be extorted money by his friend and to help his friend out so he doesn't do anything rash.

Lastly, Ji Woo didn't want Seo Joon to find out about the situation at all. Unfortunately, the Dispatch girl already told him that Ji Woo's friend had pictures of him and Ji Woo together.

My guess it's amnesia. No one in the room knew who his bf was to him. He didn't know who the bf was. Sucks lazy…
Except Zhen-Shou CP will be a main part of S2. Shou is Shide's cousin, and Zhen is working at the same company as Shide and the recent IG uploads to Result Entertainment suggest a "lack of maturity" changing from the Era of University to professional life.

His cousin's love story with Yu Zhen Xuan will be a significant part of S2. Also, Yu Zhen Xuan is working with Shide at the same company, Hua Cing Technology. That means Shide is in touch with his cousin who was a prime player in bringing Shide & Shuyi together. The idea that he wouldn't discuss Shuyi with Shide is ridiculous. There is no amnesia. lol.

More IG posts from Results Entertainment that makes me feel like Shide's cousin is going to have a far more main role in this season:

"...Fate, so people meet in the sea.
No luck, so the people who rub shoulders leave regret!

It is a kind of happiness for people in love to be together; but there are always people who have been waiting, not 5 years and 10 years, but longer 12 years...

That year, I passed by without even a glimpse. What only existed was the brief memories of the health room when I graduated from high school.

❤️The story of #Shou-Zhen will officially unfold in the second season....."

Also, from the pic stills it looks like Yu Zhen Xuan works with Shide.

Oh my.

Please remember that Shide & Shuyi have NOT been friends whatsoever between 5th grade & 12th grade. Shuyi hates Shide, period. He hates losing to him, and doesn't want to be around him. He specifically planned to go to a college Shide wouldn't be at to avoid him. They are not "together" friends, or otherwise. Shide has to watch him from afar.

Shide's sole purpose in college was to at least become friends with Shuyi once in his life, and live off of those memories after he leaves to the USA. Shide never expected for anything to really happen to them. Thus, being together, from Shide's perspective, is from that moment in the pool forward. Also, although I believe that Shide is saying that he hasn't had contact with Shuyi in 5 years, I really don't know for sure either. What Shide said wasn't a full sentence or thought, it was half a concept. What the other half of “After we’ve been separated for 76,692 hours….”would be actually would be a guess on anyone's part except maybe Results Entertainment employees. lol.

Also, as has been stated, we truly don't have a clue what's happened since they both graduated from college. Everything, and I mean everything is an assumption or guess on our parts as to what's transpired between them other than 2 things, they aren't together anymore, and S2 starts exactly 5 years after they both graduated from college.

1. Cousin doctor is in a profession forced on him by his parents that he didn't want to be doing in the first…
The 1S was mainly about Gao Shi De & Zhou Shu Yi.

The 2S will be about 3 couples; Gao Shi De-Zhou Shu Yi still as main OTP; Pei Shou Yi-Yu Zhen Xuan, & Bing Wei-Shi Zhe Yu. It's essentially shown in the difference between the primary posters for either season. S2, doesn't just have the OTP on the cover. As well, the posted bts pics from S2 are essentially all of Pei Shou Yi & Yu Zhen Xuan, suggesting that they will be the focus a bit more in S2. Of course, I or anyone else except those involved with Result Entertainment are the only ones who really know what the percentage are for each couple, but since the story is about our OTP, I believe they'd still be the main focus.

Considering how much speculative hype is going on and will likely continue until March 5th, maybe Result Entertainment played it this way to keep our interest and excitement up on.. "Oh My, what happened & what will happen??..." If they released stills for S2, a lot of the "surprise" would be essentially lost. But, again, I have no clue because I'm not an employee of Result Entertainment. lol.

What is written at start of final segment: 1) "Earth has rotated 1826 times around its axis." *1 rotation = 24…
I think you're confused. I never suggested that they've been in contact over the 5 years. It's clear from the text & what Shide says that they haven't had contact with each other in 5 years.

The data for S2 drama states:
"...The story takes place five years after Zhou Shu Yi and Gao Shi De graduated from college, focusing on their life as they juggle work responsibilities and personal life at the same time..." ~This is from Result Entertainment's production notes itself. So, clearly, whether they've been in contact or not, it's been 5 years from the date they graduated, which was when Shide left for the USA.

What I'm saying is, we don't know what the reason for the separation was for, 5 years ago. We have no idea what split them up. We have no idea whether Shide returned after 5 years away from Taiwan, or if he came back after a few months. We have no idea if Shide ghosted Shuyi or the other way around. We have no idea whether Shuyi returned to Japan with his father. WE JUST DON'T KNOW. lol....

Why Shuyi slapped Shide is as good as any guess, but based on everything anyone knows, the only thing for certain is that it's been 5 years since they've been in contact.

As for the doctor... I've been clear about it from the beginning. It's written in Mandarin in the Chinese wikipedia page for the drama:

"....32 years old, health center school doctor.
His father is a doctor and his mother is the dean. The two have forced him to inherit the mantle since childhood, no matter what he likes. Pei Shouyi followed his parents' ideas to complete a medical degree, but after graduating with a clinical certificate, he rebelliously refused to enter the hospital as a doctor. Instead, he disobeyed his parents' expectations and took up the job as a high school doctor..."

1. Cousin doctor is in a profession forced on him by his parents that he didn't want to be doing in the first place, i.e. why he was a high school doctor instead of at a big hospital -- he did it to piss of his parents.

2. S2 is actually going to focus on Cousin doctor's story a lot, and the high school student in his memories will be a big part of that.

3. Bartender guy is the singer/composer Alex Chou, Eric Chou's older brother who composed 2 songs for the WBL OST.

What is written at start of final segment: 1) "Earth has rotated 1826 times around its axis." *1 rotation = 24…
Let's breakdown all the boys and their respective majors in college, that would suggest where they would be in the world 5 years later:

*Gao Shide - Dept of Science & Engineering

*Zhou Shuyi - Finance Dept

*Bae Shouyi - forced to get medical degree by parents, father a doctor, mother a dean of the medical school. He rebels and refuses to work at the hospital, instead being a high school doctor to piss off his parents who expect more from him.

*Yu Zhenxuan - high school student in Bae Shouyi's memory S1

*Shi Zheyu - Dept of Capital Engineering

*Liu Bingwei - Law Dept

*Fang Zhengwen - Finance Dept

*Jiang Yuxin - Finance Dept

After graduating, 5 years later, Shi Zheyu & Bingwei are from the same company as Shuyi, Cheng Yi Group, and might be Shuyi's dad's company.

Gao Shide is seemingly a successful businessman with Hua Cing Technology and is back in Taiwan.

In order for everyone to believe Gao Shide was so ill or injured so severely that he loses his memory, yet can still manage to be back in Taiwan, away from his mother, successfully working for a company, it would also have to include the following for Season 2:

*Gao Shide has no contact with his cousin, Bae Shouyi, who helped bring him together with Shuyi, and whose romance with his previous high school student will be a main story.

*Gao Shide memory loss only affects forgetting certain people but not his actual education that would be required to have a job like this.

Then note the title of S2: "We Best Love: Fighting Mr. 2nd"

This doesn't suggest Shuyi is fighting him, but Shide is *fighting* Shuyi. From Shide's perspective, how does he keep Shuyi's **attention**? By always being at the top, first.

Because Shuyi slaps Shide, the assumption from most viewers has been that Shuyi is mad because Shide ghosted him for 5 years. But there hasn't been enough information provided to be sure this is the case.

We'll just have to wait for the clarity within the next 4 weeks to understand it.
