I'm not here to give an opinion or judge at all. I keep those personal thoughts to my Friends Feed & private conversations. All that matters to me is that people not provide false information. I also think that people not a party to this man or his drama should be left out of the discussion no matter how similar you think they are.
I think conveying the idea that Park Yoo Chun is innocent is false. It doesn't at all fit the facts of the story. The SK Supreme Court ruled that the 1 woman who accused him had merits in her accusations. Mediation court ordered Yoo Chun to pay her a sum of money as his victim. Park completed paying her the court ordered amount on Feb. 3, 2021, thus, resolving his legal obligation to her for his illegal conduct, period. That he has paid his fees, resolved his issues with his victims, & completed his probationary period due to his drug related charges, he is afforded the ability to come out of "retirement" and commence his work.
How you FEEL about it and whether you support that he paid his dues, or not and whether or not that will affect whether you watch anything he will be related to in the future is purely each individuals personal decisions, and, in that, there is no right or wrong, just a difference of opinion. But we should be making those decisions based in FACTS not fabrications of story.

First off, I don’t know why you need to drag other people into this story but in the case of Park Shi Hoo, he sued his former agency’s CEO, his accuser, & her friend of blackmail. The accuser dropped the charges after he did this. He left his agency, end of story. It was said at the time that the police would acquit him of the charges, and I think that’s where most people dropped caring about it. In fact, on this matter, in 2016 the accusers claimed there were incidents dating back from 2014, as well as the 2016 incident, regarding the assaults. The court ordered him to pay $56m KRW or the equivalent of $50K USD to 1 of the assault victims.

For me, on the drug charges, I think it was the best thing to ever happen to him. His meth addiction was classically horrible. I remember seeing pics of him at a animal shelter fundraising event caring for animals and he was in shorts. The sores etc on his legs were festering and, being an American who grew up in Long Beach, CA, I was well aware the classic indications of a meth addict trying to find a good vein to inject. Without help for his addiction, who knows where he’d be now. He was obviously not in a physically good state so these charges could very well have saved his life.
Maybe the pressure of being out of work and the assault cases got to him, but he had a severe problem and even now, with only a few years of sobriety, if he’s even been sober, I wonder his ability to handle the pressure of entertainment again so early.
I’m not passing judgment on either of these men. The courts are the ones to do that. I’m just giving you the facts so you can all be clear what you’re complaining about.

Ummm. NO. I’m not gonna hide it as a *spoiler*. I haven’t even watched the movie, so how could THIS be a spoiler? I don’t know how much of the truth of what happened is told in this movie. The names of the main characters involved in the irl story are not even the same as the movie. I don’t have a clue since, again, I haven’t seen it. It was Ji Woo's friend and employer, Kim Hyung Ki, that was going to get Seo Joon in trouble. The reason Kim Hyung Ki was going to give up the pic to the Dispatch people was for money to cover his dad's debt and keep the restaurant afloat.
Firstly, Ji Woo left so that they wouldn't ever be caught together again, to further fuel the papz idea that he's in a relationship with Seo Joon. He didn't want to be thrown in with this kind of rumor/publicity.
He also asked Kim Pil Hyun to give him his deposit key money on the apartment.
Secondly, the next morning Ji Woo goes to Kim Hyung Ki's house to see that it's been locked off by the debt collectors. So, he calls him to come out. He offers to initially pay him $20k, likely the key money from the apartment, to cover and pay for any of Kim Hyung Ki's emergency debts. Ji Wo did that to protect Seo Joon from be extorted money by his friend and to help his friend out so he doesn't do anything rash.
Lastly, Ji Woo didn't want Seo Joon to find out about the situation at all. Unfortunately, the Dispatch girl already told him that Ji Woo's friend had pictures of him and Ji Woo together.

The 1S was mainly about Gao Shi De & Zhou Shu Yi.
The 2S will be about 3 couples; Gao Shi De-Zhou Shu Yi still as main OTP; Pei Shou Yi-Yu Zhen Xuan, & Bing Wei-Shi Zhe Yu. It's essentially shown in the difference between the primary posters for either season. S2, doesn't just have the OTP on the cover. As well, the posted bts pics from S2 are essentially all of Pei Shou Yi & Yu Zhen Xuan, suggesting that they will be the focus a bit more in S2. Of course, I or anyone else except those involved with Result Entertainment are the only ones who really know what the percentage are for each couple, but since the story is about our OTP, I believe they'd still be the main focus.
Considering how much speculative hype is going on and will likely continue until March 5th, maybe Result Entertainment played it this way to keep our interest and excitement up on.. I think you're confused. I never suggested that they've been in contact over the 5 years. It's clear from the text & what Shide says that they haven't had contact with each other in 5 years.
The data for S2 drama states: "...The story takes place five years after Zhou Shu Yi and Gao Shi De graduated from college, focusing on their life as they juggle work responsibilities and personal life at the same time..." ~This is from Result Entertainment's production notes itself. So, clearly, whether they've been in contact or not, it's been 5 years from the date they graduated, which was when Shide left for the USA.
What I'm saying is, we don't know what the reason for the separation was for, 5 years ago. We have no idea what split them up. We have no idea whether Shide returned after 5 years away from Taiwan, or if he came back after a few months. We have no idea if Shide ghosted Shuyi or the other way around. We have no idea whether Shuyi returned to Japan with his father. WE JUST DON'T KNOW. lol....

Let's breakdown all the boys and their respective majors in college, that would suggest where they would be in the world 5 years later:

*Zhou Shuyi - Finance Dept

*Gao Shide has no contact with his cousin, Bae Shouyi, who helped bring him together with Shuyi, and whose romance with his previous high school student will be a main story.
*Gao Shide memory loss only affects forgetting certain people but not his actual education that would be required to have a job like this.
Then note the title of S2: "We Best Love: Fighting Mr. 2nd"
This doesn't suggest Shuyi is fighting him, but Shide is *fighting* Shuyi. From Shide's perspective, how does he keep Shuyi's **attention**? By always being at the top, first.

"Oh My, what happened & what will happen??..." If they released stills for S2, a lot of the "surprise" would be essentially lost. But, again, I have no clue because I'm not an employee of Result Entertainment. lol.
The data for S2 drama states:
"...The story takes place five years after Zhou Shu Yi and Gao Shi De graduated from college, focusing on their life as they juggle work responsibilities and personal life at the same time..." ~This is from Result Entertainment's production notes itself. So, clearly, whether they've been in contact or not, it's been 5 years from the date they graduated, which was when Shide left for the USA.
What I'm saying is, we don't know what the reason for the separation was for, 5 years ago. We have no idea what split them up. We have no idea whether Shide returned after 5 years away from Taiwan, or if he came back after a few months. We have no idea if Shide ghosted Shuyi or the other way around. We have no idea whether Shuyi returned to Japan with his father. WE JUST DON'T KNOW. lol....
Why Shuyi slapped Shide is as good as any guess, but based on everything anyone knows, the only thing for certain is that it's been 5 years since they've been in contact.
As for the doctor... I've been clear about it from the beginning. It's written in Mandarin in the Chinese wikipedia page for the drama:
"....32 years old, health center school doctor.
His father is a doctor and his mother is the dean. The two have forced him to inherit the mantle since childhood, no matter what he likes. Pei Shouyi followed his parents' ideas to complete a medical degree, but after graduating with a clinical certificate, he rebelliously refused to enter the hospital as a doctor. Instead, he disobeyed his parents' expectations and took up the job as a high school doctor..."
2. S2 is actually going to focus on Cousin doctor's story a lot, and the high school student in his memories will be a big part of that.
3. Bartender guy is the singer/composer Alex Chou, Eric Chou's older brother who composed 2 songs for the WBL OST.

*Bae Shouyi - forced to get medical degree by parents, father a doctor, mother a dean of the medical school. He rebels and refuses to work at the hospital, instead being a high school doctor to piss off his parents who expect more from him.

After graduating, 5 years later, Shi Zheyu & Bingwei are from the same company as Shuyi, Cheng Yi Group, and might be Shuyi's dad's company.
Gao Shide is seemingly a successful businessman with Hua Cing Technology and is back in Taiwan.
In order for everyone to believe Gao Shide was so ill or injured so severely that he loses his memory, yet can still manage to be back in Taiwan, away from his mother, successfully working for a company, it would also have to include the following for Season 2:
*Gao Shide has no contact with his cousin, Bae Shouyi, who helped bring him together with Shuyi, and whose romance with his previous high school student will be a main story.
*Gao Shide memory loss only affects forgetting certain people but not his actual education that would be required to have a job like this.
Then note the title of S2: "We Best Love: Fighting Mr. 2nd"
This doesn't suggest Shuyi is fighting him, but Shide is *fighting* Shuyi. From Shide's perspective, how does he keep Shuyi's **attention**? By always being at the top, first.
Because Shuyi slaps Shide, the assumption from most viewers has been that Shuyi is mad because Shide ghosted him for 5 years. But there hasn't been enough information provided to be sure this is the case.
We'll just have to wait for the clarity within the next 4 weeks to understand it.
