Back then, when it aired in my country, I didn't miss any episodes. I remember the time slot for this was late at night, 10:30- 11pm I think. Watching it again, I feel so exhausted, it is indeed cruel or what the title in my country says, bad love. The kind of love these characters portray was rather cruel/bad because they loved it to the point of destruction. What an obsession!

This is the first in the Endless Love series. Also a classic that deserved a high rating. It's just that I root for the FL and SML😆. I think this is where my SL Syndrome began haha

As a fan of both manga and anime, I love the live action🤩. It must be so tough compressing the East Blue saga arc into 8 episodes. Some people questioning the casting of some, like Lucky Roo, Nojiko and Ben Beckman,seriously just enjoy the show,it's an adaptation and not an imitation. See you next season, Straw Hat Pirates!

PS. I watched it in the Japanese dubbed and haha feels cool😆

I got a major SLS in this one. I could've given a higher rating if the leads didn't end up together.

Come back to watch this again for the nth time after watching Worst of Evil, The Killing Vote, Lost You Forever and The Escape of Seven.
This is one of my go to dramas after watching heavy plot ones to ease my mind haha😅.
This really is a comfort drama for me, I miss the province life; the nice views, good food,those oldies unrelated to me, yet seem related as they practically watched me grew up so I also regard them as my uncles,aunties and grandparents😆, and of course those gossipers! We have them everywhere, be it in city or rural areas.haha.

Give it a try,it's a nice drama.

This really deserves a 10/10 rating. The way they put together and shift the scenes from romance, comedy to thrillers is so smooth.

I can relate the most to Dongbaek.It's so hard for a timid person who's too dependent on someone to suddenly be left alone (and pregnant at that) to fend for herself.

Yongshik is still my first among my favorite MLs. He's so honest and so devoted to her.

And there's Pil Goo, a kid who's always ready to defend his mom.

2020 was a tough year for Baeksang AA, as Hot Stove League,Hyena, Crash Landing on You,Kingdom 2, and WTCB are all good, but I must say that WTCB really deserved the Grand Prize Award.

This one is on my list of rewatchable dramas. Despite having some thrillers, I somehow find this comforting and healing, also realistic.

I remember watching this because it popped out on my reddit recs. I didn't have any expectations of the drama and only realized that it's Makjang after 34 episodes😅 even though, I still continue as I was already invested, haha.

The last dramas of FL that I watched are Dae Mul and Loving You A Thousand Times and she was good in both.

The antagonists did a good job, they carried the show well.

Chicago Typewriter will always be in my top 10 favs of all time. There is no dull moment,the story-telling and how they shift from past to present are just perfect.

I just feel sorry for Shin Yool, as he was trapped in that "thing" and wasn't able to reincarnate.

I had a hard time finishing this, not because the drama is not good, but because it felt too heavy for me. As I watched one episode after another, I felt eerie, it was so dark for me because of the cult thing. This whole cult thing is not new to me, so maybe that explains the uneasiness I feel. I relate to Sang Mi the most. She wanted to save her loved ones when she also needed saving. Cult culture is so horrifying.

Song Ah's mother is sooo right, Hyun Seung is just too good for Song Ah!! haha. But seriously, they complement each other. Hyun Seung... where to find a guy like him, right? I like this kind of ML instead of the typical tsundere type. ML had a great relationship with his siblings and I also like his noonas. Jae Woon and Ji Seung are so cute together. Actually, Jae Won is also nice, he knows what he wants and would even give her up when he thought she was married. Ha Eun is eye candy! I love her too. She and her high standards😆

The pacing is just right. Their office mates are also supportive and protective. Nice workplace with mature people.

I always see these kinds of dramas(not too complicated, relaxing and with a good amount of everything) after watching ones with a heavy plot to ease my mind.

I can't remember how many times I've watched this. My nephew likes this drama so much. Cheong San is so adorable and I like the Jang siblings( Ha Ri and Woo Jin).

naah, just read my comments below if you want answers. Also, I don't need to refute your comment as you have a firm standing and won't accept any opinion. If there was no cheating involved, Shin Yu wouldn't feel guilty towards Nayeon and Hong Jo. It even came from his own mouth that he would come to her(Hong Jo) pure and wholly, meaning he was gonna do a clean break, because clearly he didn't really emphasize the break up on Nayeon. He broke up with her but she didn't accept it, and she acted like the break up didn't happen and he allowed it. He just let her be, and he just went with the flow. He could've told their parents about the break up when both families had dinner together.



And just because the relationship between Shin Yu and Nayeon doesn't show much, like them being romantically involved with each other, doesn't justify what he did. Yes, he didn't love Nayeon, but they are engaged officially. They are not faking it.

Jae Kyung is right when he said that Shin Yu was attracted to Hong Jo the first time he met her.



I have watched this 3x already.



And I didn't say I disliked this drama. I even said that episodes get better as they go on.

I think it would be nice if the writer showed the viewers in early episodes that Nayeon is cheating on Shin Yu.

Yes, there is zero investment in their relationship. It's not about skinship or romance, he didn't love her, but the fact that they are engaged to each other makes it seem like cheating (plus him feeling guilty towards Nayeon and Hong Joo). He didn't clarify their break up to their parents, though he could've brought the issue when both families had dinner together, but no, he just let Nayeon have her way, acting as if the break up didn't happen. Jae Kyung is right when he told Shin Yu that he was attracted to Hong Joo the first time he met her.

But still, as I've comment it's a nice watch.

They had great chemistry compared to his fl in She Would Never Know.

I think some people can get into another relationship just one day after breaking up.

Some may find it draggy, but I like the actors, the main leads and all the supporting roles, even the villain Na Joong Beom (Jo Bo Ah and Ahn Sang Woo reunion after Forest 2020 haha), so I did bear with it, and it gets better around episode 8/9.

One thing that almost made me drop this is not the slow pacing but the cheating of ML. I can accept it being draggy but not cheating. Then it is revealed that his gf was cheating on him way earlier(maybe aside from his illness, it was also the reason he broke up with her 'cause he already knew about it).

Hoping for another drama of Rowoon and Jo Bo Ah as a couple, as I like their chemistry

Another underrated drama. This is definitely worth putting on my Rewatch drama sec.

Woah, I really regretted putting it on hold for 3 years after watching episode 3! [I watched other dramas of PHJ & JBA including the recent ones (Destined With You, The Killing Vote (ongoing)) but I wasn't able to continue watching as the first 3 eps didn't seem to connect to me.] I only came back to watch it after finishing Meet Yourself 2023, because of the countryside setting, I suddenly remembered this drama and was determined to finish it.

I almost missed a gem; this drama was so underrated. The leads chemistry is so chemistry-ing🤩 why didn't I notice it before?  Anyways, it's a very good drama, the forest is so beautiful and relaxing, and even if the business scenes were heavy, the atmosphere changes whenever it shifts to forest scenes. Somehow, it's calming. The only downside for me is that it took too long for them to deal with their traumas. I mean, it's been their problem since ep.1 and was only resolved until the last ep, and too abruptly at that.

Give it a try. Don't hesitate to watch it.
