I was only watching for Danson but damn. This drama is so long and it's draggy....It's been on my hold list for…
Yup, this one sure is a disappointment. Thank goodness I first took a peek at their short clips on Youtube before diving into another 70+ long parter after "Love, Now".
Sorry to say this, but Danson was too stiff in his role play. Unlike the Yan-Lan ship in L,N, i didn't feel any chemistry from this CP. The way the ML talks in Ep #70 is like a sleep inducer.
Comparing his forced kiss in #37 with Joe Cheng's in "It Started with a Kiss" (#19)... Both are Taiwanese productions, but it's certainly heavens & earth apart!
drop this cos I can't stand the FL. She looks much older than the ML and I don't really like her face and acting.…
I'm with you on this. Simply don't like her face - makes me lose all interests in the dramas when she's cast as d main FL like Pretty Man S1 and To Love, To Heal. The only exception for me was "My Fated Boy" as it's supposed to be a May December romance ^__^
This production looks much older than 2018. The leading male characters who look almost the same to me in their hair gear. Don't know about its storyline, but after running the finale, it doesn't appeal much to me
Came here to read the comments and majority's lamenting on the 72 long episodes. Well, for one who sort of grew up watching Taiwanese dramas know Taiwanese productions are famous for their long grandma dramas. The longest being "Unforgettable Memory" in 526 episodes with a runtime of 50,000 minutes! That's why i hardly touch Tw dramas after we got hit by Hallyu.
I explored this because of the saucy trailer that popped up in Facebook. Felt lots of chemistry from the main CP! And very happy they've turned from reel to real 10 years later!!!
Congratulations! Best Wishes and Everlasting Love for them forever!
lol. I just responded to another post about his character. I saw a YouTube interview with the screenwriter, ML,…
TBH, i don't mind watching effeminate or flamboyant guys. I adore WoH Lao Gong. It's just something about VZ or his way of acting it out that irks my interests. Happy that it works out for you.
After seeing Song Zhu'er pairing off with a youthful chap in "To Fly with You", it feels a little teeny weeny bit odd for me to see her starring opposite as 39yo Ethan. It reminds me of Lin Yu Shen (41) and Rosy Zhao (23) in DITK.
LOL for once in a blue blue moon, this is really a good happy finale! Such a complete ending! No cliffhangers! No doubtful questions or loose ends! This is completely a big surprise. And S1 ended within 38 episodes. Not too short and not too lengthy drama. Really a good watch.
Since the romance and family drama came in two seasons, it didn't feel like i was watching another old grandma Taiwanese drama of over 70 parter...

Didn't feel the same sexy vibes that he had in Legend of Fuyao.
