Though I've not caught the J & K versions, i do agree with the others. This production is awesome. Unlike some old productions that i watched in current time and felt its outdatedness, this drama didn't make me feel that way.

Felt lots of chemistry from main CP. Their transition from student to adulthood was natural.

For a 2005 & 2007 actor at that time, Joe Cheng's loving kisses and passion/bed scenes were done so naturally well. They look so comfortable in each other's arms. It makes me hope and also wonder if they're real and not just reel. Such believable kissing shot from CP is rare these days.

Last of all, i like this story for its absence of evil vibes, clingy 3rd parties...

yup, it was indeed touching and beautifully done. Tears just automatically flowed.

Yup, Zhi Shu's smile and my curosity to see when and how he got to like her kept me watching and to complete the drama.

i chanced upon this drama only a few days ago. Though the online streaming and video audio was utterly bad (since it's 17 years ago). i persevered and watched every single episode. Unlike the usual Taiwanese longwinded drama, Ariel, Joe and the closely knitted family held on to my interest and patience to complete the drama.

would have been perfect if the FL character in the story wasn't given such a "low IQ behavioral trait".

Since the romance and family drama came in two seasons, it didn't feel like i was watching another old grandma Taiwanese drama of over 70 parter...

Yup, this one sure is a disappointment. Thank goodness I first took a peek at their short clips on Youtube before diving into another 70+ long parter after "Love, Now".

Sorry to say this, but Danson was too stiff in his role play. Unlike the Yan-Lan ship in L,N, i didn't feel any chemistry from this CP. The way the ML talks in Ep #70 is like a sleep inducer.

Comparing his forced kiss in #37 with Joe Cheng's in "It Started with a Kiss" (#19)... Both are Taiwanese productions, but it's certainly heavens & earth apart!

I'm with you on this. Simply don't like her face - makes me lose all interests in the dramas when she's cast as d main FL like Pretty Man S1 and To Love, To Heal.
The only exception for me was "My Fated Boy" as it's supposed to be a May December romance

i consider the subs bad as i do understand a little Chinese.

Subbing in Dramacool.rs is all complete but the subs are terrible.

This production looks much older than 2018. The leading male characters who look almost the same to me in their hair gear. Don't know about its storyline, but after running the finale, it doesn't appeal much to me

Came here to read the comments and majority's lamenting on the 72 long episodes. Well, for one who sort of grew up watching Taiwanese dramas know Taiwanese productions are famous for their long grandma dramas. The longest being "Unforgettable Memory" in 526 episodes with a runtime of 50,000 minutes! That's why i hardly touch Tw dramas after we got hit by Hallyu.

I explored this because of the saucy trailer that popped up in Facebook. Felt lots of chemistry from the main CP! And very happy they've turned from reel to real 10 years later!!!

i personally didn't like him in Joy of Life. I'm ok with him on this one.

TBH, i don't mind watching effeminate or flamboyant guys. I adore WoH Lao Gong. It's just something about VZ or his way of acting it out that irks my interests. Happy that it works out for you.
