But I think most of the Yuntai sect don’t actually know how to fight because they went into trading/business……
Yeap, but the whole genius thing is related to their ‘blood’… or the subtitles gave the word “clan”. So this genius trait is related to the Qian tribe. Yes, so Kang Qiao’s master also sounds like some eccentric martial arts prodigy. I do think they sound like the minority in their sect though… unless Mr.Mo is jealous and made it sound like his master is a weirdo. LOL. 🤣 Have to admit his fatherly puppy eyes is very cute.
So in 5 years Kang Qiao learns to become a formidable fighter and in 15 years Yunxiang only learns how to run?!?!?…
But I think most of the Yuntai sect don’t actually know how to fight because they went into trading/business… Including the Mr.Mo dude and the Wen Chong guy. So I was also kinda confused about the whole thing coz his name starts with Yun. Lol. I actually went back to watch the beginning of episode 1 again… to try to catch the name of the other division. So the LingYuan guys are probably the ‘stronger’/more physical of the 2…. Just so happen Kang Qiao is a martial art prodigy…
First episode seems interesting. Realistic to real life. But the eng sub on iQiyi isn't that good.
Yeap. Kinda rare for C-dramas to show the private side to law, most of the time it’s public prosecutors. The Oxford dude is super funny, kinda reminds me of some people in real life….. just his English…. 😰😰😰 without subtitles I actually can’t make out wot he’s saying. Hopefully this turns out to be a solid series, it’s quite refreshing. Reminds me of Misaeng but this one is more comedic. 🤣🤣🤣
Qin Hao….. 😳😳😳 I couldn’t even recognise him….. had to stare very hard and very closely…
The weight gain doesn’t look CGI-ed.. he’s wearing prosthetics on face…..? His features look completely different…. 😧😧😧 basically a different person… but the way they did it is so natural… 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Ep 10: who do you guys think burned the raw silk during the journey?
I thought it was one of the guys that the Cao gang employed. So it looks like the 400 people from the villages split up though. I just thought one of the groups successfully made it. 🤔
I watched the trailer too, but the Qi Tian Feng lost all his collateral property to the bank! It means he lost right….?
Unpopular view: I'm distracted by FL's face, I can't enjoy her acting because I keep thinking whether she has…
I actually don’t think she did though… I just think her “baby fat” is gone… it’s her cheeks….
BUT regardless… I actually find her more pleasant looking here….? Or like easy on the eye?
Like in Reunion she looked uhhh… kinda distracting… esp her hair there (didn’t do her any justice, looked like a wig) also, her voice has a sharp undertone to it. Like kinda ‘kiddie’ 🤔 (but I didn’t find her annoying coz she isn’t exactly the overly cute-sy kind, it’s mostly only her big round eyes)…
Baby Shark…. 🤣🤣🤣 put to use in the practical world. LOL!
Eccentric, weird but somehow pushes one to continue for casual watching…. Only complaint being… with an oddball series, it’s about how smoothly various extreme pieces comes together. i.e ultimately the “vibe” it gives viewers.
So, it’s still got kinks here and there but it’s wayyyy better than Salon de Nabi in that sense. So the kinks aren’t limited to a specific area, it’s sometimes the plot, chemistry, flow/pacing, comedy etc…
12-episodes was a wise decision, don’t think it should be any less BUT… as it progresses the series delves into more “serious”/emotional topics… I’m guessing to try give the plot more ‘depth’….? Some may view this as fillers due to the change in tone.
A good concept, solid premise…. but execution was hit-and-misses. Worth giving a try before deciding. The chemistry between the cast was inconsistent… the storyline wasn’t as smooth as I’d like it to be. The romance between the leads feels unnatural at times, for once I don’t think the main actress aced this role.
I watched it casually, fast-forwarding where I thought it was too strange or kinda off.
I'm wondering if i should watch season 2 after watching 1 now that 3 is here. Depends on how much romance. Why…
Espresso is too strong for most including myself. Cappuccino has too much milk… not everyone can take milk and it might be too filling to drink a few cups of it…. Hence…. Long black/Americano…. Think the analogy is like whisky. 1 shot of whisky vs. Whisky cocktail vs. Whisky soda (highball)/whisky on the rocks…
Yes, S2 is a must watch because S3 is literally the continuation of it.
Oh thanks for this, ah, I like her too! Chen Kun is the lead… interesting… 😏 I’ve never heard of it before, will bookmark it to watch. Wait…. Lol, will it pull a con on me and not show a drop of blood + 0 surgery scenes again?
Ah, I’ve watched the Korean one before. I think it’s literally called Hospital Ship. I found that pretty good.

Super strong start, it’s so damn good. Totally love that they truly managed continuity from S2…
