Sighs. Smart move. Honestly I didn’t think much of it in the 1st episode, I was kinda disappointed in fact. But the plot is seriously pretty good and interesting. Now I wish I didn’t continue watching and waited instead.

Sighs. Same. Totally shouldn’t have started this. I looked at the schedule and it’s actually super long. Like a few weeks. They even split up the final 2 episodes. 🤦🏻‍♀️

I didn’t like the novel… at all… so no for me. 🙅🏻‍♀️ defo sad though coz the first 29 episodes were sooooo goooooddd….

I’m okay with a sad ending, but I laughed coz they CGI-ed most of the bit and then suddenly he’s dead. Like wot the…. But just like 10 mins ago he was still the demon, then suddenly it looked like he went through some purification then just died…. It’s so….. underwhelming…

Lol, I stopped before the final arc hoping to watch everything once it ended… but I just looked at Ep. 40 and I actually laughed. It’s uhh…. Ok. I think I’m not going to catchup on the last arc, kinda sad.

Think it’s 2 episodes per day from Thurs to Sun. Which makes 16 in total.

The plot thickens….. LingYuan has finally appeared andddd…. They decided to stop releasing episodes daily. 🤣

Also, have to give some credit to Tang Xiao Tian… always felt that the roles he takes on were sort of typecasted, or of a certain type… his character here is really different from the ones he usually plays….. esp when he had to kill. Wouldn’t call it flawless acting but it was quite refreshing.

I was so surprised with the last 10 episodes, like seriously. Hahaha, yes, my bad on the angst. Let me put it a different way…. Usually the angst in xianxias are kinda dumb because they are due to a zillion misunderstandings. Wot I meant was, the angst here wasn’t coz of misunderstanding. Lol. It was real rage.

Oh yea, I was literally pulling the screen closer and closer to my face! On the end the edge of your seat is totally spot on. 🤣

Yea. So I did realise that when she was at the station… there was a station name for her workplace. So I got that…. But it wasn’t an English word… so no confusion there. When she says her catchphrase, the most memorable words to me were tomato and Swiss coz I could recognise them from hearing… then when I looked at the translation I saw kayak, etc. and got confused. 🤣🤣 my bad, English is my first language. So with tomato, Swiss, kayak all jumbled up… I’m like…. Huh…. “?!?!”…. 🤔

Like you said, it’s the translation that is kinda tricky for this. No matter wot they put down in the translation…. It would have been somewhat loss, coz it’s basically the Korean words/characters that matter.

Ah! So it is!! Lol, yea, that’s why I was confused. Lol. Coz now I realised the palindrome thing they did is kinda a mixture between English and Korean. So ‘tomato’ and ‘ Swiss’ isn’t a palindrome in English, but looking at wot you typed it is in Romanized Korean. But ‘kayak’, ‘noon’ etc is in English. 🤣🤣🤣

I get wot you mean, I kinda thought so too, but trust me…. The last 10 episodes will surprise you. So the way they did the plot is kinda different from the typical/usual xianxia. So for this one they actually kinda threw in a lot of lovey dovey moments in the first 30 eps…. And somehow the plot thickens and surprises in the last 10 episodes. No…. The last 10 eps weren’t exactly angst…. At least it flowed naturally and I didn’t think they did it just to lengthen the series.

Honestly I was pretty surprised. The last 10 episodes were very exciting.

“Seu-wi-seu” is the one that sounds like ‘Swiss’. I always thought she literally meant Swiss… like the country.

Yeap. The author really named it based on the Shrek cartoon character. So the school’s logo in the Manhua has that green character.

No idea if I’m the minority but I find Xiao Wu soooooo cute. Like the actress who plays the character really looks like a cute rabbit without much makeup. Even her physique reminds me of a rabbit. 🤣
