It has romance, but depends on which type of romance you like. The main pairing romance is really good imo
Lol. I felt the entire Blue Whisper was just filled with angst and pain.. š¤£
Just watched the thriller of this one⦠looks like there are comedic moments⦠š¤ looks quite balanced. Iād probably give it a go once it finishes airing.
A worthy watch, love the cinematography although itās likely the script didnāt require a lot of budget. 8.5 for me per MDLās gauge. Iāve never watched the original film so no idea how it compares to that.
Itās outā¦. Production quality is surprisingly pretty highā¦. The FL actress is very eye-catching on-screen! Like I can totally visualise her as Shirley Yang. She has a similar facial profile as Michelle Reis⦠š
Iād say many of us, not saying you, dislike revenge themes because most dramas that includes it holds no substance…
Yeaā¦. Itās not reallyā¦.. sensibleā¦. Or realistic⦠I can get some sense of people wanting revenge, but like itās really very difficult relate to if that is a personās sole reason for existingā¦.
Agree most revenge dramas are so one-dimensional. š I didnāt find NiF an enjoyable watch at all. I mean yea, it was very intricate and smartā¦. But nothing beyond that. I literally felt it was a waste of my timeā¦
Yea, this is defo a tad too long. They probably still needed to fine-tune it. But seriously revenge themes are SO popularā¦.. both in K-dramas and C-dramas⦠whyā¦ā¦ā¦. š¤·āāļø
This is superrr hilarious⦠LOL. I havenāt completed it yet but hope it goes well until the end. Itās so…
Hurmā¦. Similar to some of the comments belowā¦. It just turned into quite the conventional K-drama plot midway-2/3s inā¦. I donāt think it was anything bad and doubt it was because of the issues with productionā¦. Think they perhaps catered too many episodes to the major/backstory plotā¦. They should have cut it by half for that bit and probably allocate another case prior⦠about 4 episodes was dedicated to itā¦. Probably would have been much better if it was just 2⦠that would already have been 2 hrsā¦
I don't think they were exactly platonic though. I think they were in love with each other, but our boy definitely…
Yea, think you enjoyed that because subconsciously you probably realised that itās kinda rare nowadays in real life. Also part of the reason why I was so sad they didnāt take it to the next level and see it work (this is where the drama bit kicks in, the hope of a HE esp coz they got all the foundations right! š¤£)
Mainly because everyone does it backwards and āhopes for the bestā in the name of loveā¦. So convenience and speed rules our life now (fuelled by the advancement in technology). Quickly get together, minimal courtship and just have your fingers crossed that there is a deeper connection and everything works out.
The feeling of love is usually a fleeting moment but then I think itās like the drama and also the scenario I described that builds the foundation of loveā¦. I.e getting to really know one another without being led by the whole physical aspect. And I donāt think the feeling/illusion of love = loveā¦.. thatās kinda 2 different things. More of the former is an infatuation which is usually mistaken for love.
I have to say Lee Min Jung really has a very pleasant faceā¦.. like very proportionate and easily accepted by most. In a way very commercial but also she comes off as memorable, problem is that makes her less versatile when it comes to acting. She probs need double the effort to pay attention to nuances to pull-off an unconventional role and surprise the audience.
I don't think they were exactly platonic though. I think they were in love with each other, but our boy definitely…
Yeap, agree on the physical bit. Love extends beyond thatā¦. But also coming off the same analogyā¦.. being close colleagues and spending a lot of time together doesnāt make it love⦠itās a good foundation for love for sure and if anything develops further youād know both parties are uber serious and defo on the same page. Hence itās a really ideal environment for special someones esp once you hit adulthood. 𤣠in a way the process mimics courtship in older timesā¦
People will only really know if they love after going through some seriously uncomfortable challenges in life like merging of 2 families, finding ways to live tog, boundaries getting tested, overcoming differences in seeing wot is right vs. wrong etcā¦..
I don't think they were exactly platonic though. I think they were in love with each other, but our boy definitely…
Itās not so much about the physical bit⦠I think itās just at the special friend or special someone phase and itād require further development. I personally donāt think love is something that comes without developing it further. So itās something like colleaguesā¦. And you continue meeting this special someone because you go to work everydayā¦. Whether it would develop into something more/permanent is yet to be seen until you guys actually get together.
This was really trashy, defo a āmakjangā but it was so addictive and good.
Makjang aside, it was actually very realistic in many aspects. Defo watch it BUT do follow it through until Season 3. Was super satisfying in S3 (payback time š¤£š¤£š¤£) although the producers really annoyed me by changing so many of the crucial casts. š š š
3 seasons of 16 episodes of 70 minutes?? How big is this story even??
Lol. I clicked play just for funā¦. And damns, itās trashy but itās soā¦ā¦. Addictiveā¦. Defo caught me off guard⦠Season 3 was meant to be the climax and super rewarding coz all the ābad guysā payā¦. Super satisfying to watchā¦.. but Iām damn annoyed they changed half the cast.
The story does kinda build up over 3 seasonsā¦. To be fair, Penthouse also has 3 seasonsā¦. š¤ but I didnāt watch thatā¦
SEASON 3 WHEN? IM IN NEED OF A 3RD SEASON FOR YEARSššš It's this, Stranger & Voice; makes me always rant…
I really donāt understand why a different director canāt pick I up. Damns I really like Stranger and Voice too. They were amazing. And Iām rewatching this nowā¦. And I realised that⦠damns, their props and autopsy procedures are so realistic. It looks so detailed and realistic. Some of them were just soā¦.. ewww⦠lol because they were so real.
Sighs, am so sad about thisā¦. So difficult to find good forensic science dramas.

AoL I didnāt finish it.
Blue Whisper was painful everywhere⦠lol. Even her relationship with her ābrotherā was sad. š¤£
I think you mentioned an important pointā¦. So if it doesnāt a drag out I think itās ok. As long as it doesnāt consume the entire dramaā¦
