To be fair…… if you think about it logically her mentality and maturity is kinda stagnant at high school…. And GJ was meant to be the original contact she was introduced to. Think she was too focused + shocked on Tan Shen being the bad guy….. that the other person immediately becomes the good guy, esp the contact came from her best friend…

Yea… so until now RZZ is still convinced it’s a suicide… I’m just worried that even if it’s a happy ending they will do some weird ass editing and rushed ending that we actually don’t even know wot this whole conspiracy is really about…….. that would be super lame………😔😒

I first learnt of this word/concept doppelgängers because of Javier Bardem and Jeffrey Dean Morgan… coz I swear I was confused and I thought I was crazy…. 🤣 and I’ve not came across that many Asian actors/artistes whom look like doppelgängers… and the first pair I noticed was actually Li Qin and Bai Lu because I didn’t realise they were 2 different actresses…. Until like a few yrs after. 🤣🤣🤣🤣 and actually a lot of people noticed that… coz someone else wrote it as commentary first on MDL under one of their dramas…
Yes, Zanilia Zhao and Jang Na Ra is the second pair I noticed. And damns do they really look alike. Could be the reason why you gravitated towards her.

I think it’s because.. RZZ is still her usual self…. And she lied/hid things from her best friend again (but this time it’s cause she doesn’t want Su Wen to know she is still investigating and she most definitely doesn’t want her to get involved). So she didn’t disclose to her best friend that she has confronted fake Gao Jun and made a side deal with him to work together….. so to Su Wen she is pretending to go out with him to figure out his ulterior motive, hence why Su Wen played along too. Proven further because her best friend doesn’t know that they went to the hospital to investigate while she photocopied. They even made additional effort to get the puff pastry she requested to cover their tracks.
But defo not because it’s a mistake… Tan Shen was very surprised as well when Su Wen called him Gao Jun… he even asked her “wot did you call me?”

Could have been the case but the screenplay came out first whilst the novel was kept private……… and the novel is currently in-progress of being released chapter per chapter…. It should take longer to release versus the drama… I tried searching in Chinese as well… and the only source was qimao mentioned above…. And official Chinese news released cite it as original screenplay because of the order of how things was published.
The circumstance was quite difference with The Confidence…. Where she edited the screenplay based on an already published web novel… hence the different title, and different names of the characters, significant change in genre etc.
This one had the order in the opposite direction…. The screenplay is already finalised, and she is now polishing the novel for publication.

Oooo. I’ve read that tooo…. But as with all Daomu Biji main novels… (and some side stories)… it actually translates better on-screen esp those with really heavy action scenes… hope they will make this into a movie… the whole Russian culture + set-up was very intriguing. I actually got quite disoriented like midway of Flowery Nights, it actually got quite difficult to visualise wot both the leads were doing with the antagonist.
