(as someone who watched this for the first time after time of fever) honestly, as it comes to ho tae and dong hee at least, imo time of fever is WAY better on its own without watching ULS at all. i didn’t enjoy ho tae and dong hee’s relationship in this. i was really unsatisfied, and i felt like some things didn’t align with what was in the movie/make sense considering what was in the movie. unfortunately, i also didn’t connect with the main couple, so it was kinda meh all around for me

that just might be one of the hottest first kiss scenes i have ever wayched omg. they’re actually insane for that. it’s not even the kiss itself but the build up

Because he was too nice and his ex gfs, who originally like him for being nice, start to dislike that he’s nice to everyone, not just them, so they dump him. Isumi’s mother hen friend (Yohei I think is his name) has a similar issue with girls, with some of them apparently hating how nice he is to Isumi. I don’t think so. She gave a different perspective on disability and inaccessibility, and I think that more “jaded” perspective highlighted what made Taichi so different from many other non-disabled people. I also think she played a role in Taichi realising his feelings.

This was a touching story that focused on some pretty important issues that I don’t often see explored in BL but my god I have to say JBL has really been serving face lately. Kohei’s face card is lethal and Taichi is the prettiest crier I’ve ever seen.

i can’t get over how cute isumi is. i take at least 10 minutes per episode to squeal over it. they really ate with his casting

there was this time in july/early august where i was watching like 8+ queer shows (bl, a gl, etc) that were airing so basically every day there was something to watch and i was so happy LMAO 😭 takara’s treasure was one of those shows so now that it, and a few others, is done it feels like the end of a fun era ✊😔 (if anyone is wondering the shows are ayaka loves hiroko, the reality dating show the boyfriend on netflix, cosmetic playlover, the trainee, i hear the sunspot, the anime twilight out of focus, sugar dog life, interview with the vampire, and ofc takara’s treasure).

i really like the show and i do think it’s obvious they’re a couple but i do agree there could have been more physical affection, whether that’s forehead kisses, snuggles, hand holding, hugs or whatever. i also wish takara said the words “i like you” even if it’s obvious he does

isumi’s friends basically being his parents is so cute! i get it though isumi is adorable i’d turn into a mother hen with him too

the whole “this behaviour is annoying af, unacceptable, and intolerable up until there’s a confirmed diagnosis, then it’s fine” thing is icky

its apparently set in 2014 but it does feel more like 2004 to me. personally, as a disabled student, despite theories that it could be related to a cultural difference, im still not over the lack of assistive technology being used lol. i use/used assistive tech a lot (including in the 2010s) bcs it gives me more independence, but it feels like it’s barely featured in this drama. when i just pretend this drama is older, i still have a good time watching it tho lol.

I dislike what they’re doing with Bahmee-Tae-Judy so much I want to drop my rating 😭 They’re annoying me so bad if they were real I’d call HR on their asses
