i kind of like bahmee and judy together when i forget about tae, then i feel bad for him lol. i hate when ppl forgive cheaters though, so i hope he dumps her whether she and judy get together or not. that said, i gotta say, i think bcs bahmee has developed feelings for judy, she’s sort of looking for an excuse to justify her feelings changing for tae. in other words, she’s looking for reasons she’s not the “bad guy” for essentially emotionally (and now physically) cheating, so it’s almost like she’s like “ok but what is he doing to deserve this.” for example, there’s no real reason to assume tae has forgotten about their anniversary. it’s normal to plan surprises for anniversaries. she’s giving him no grace and also not communicating anything about how she’s feeling. that said, tae could be more communicative. i get he’s a lowkey guy, but he could still do more to express his affections in bahmee’s love language, not to the point where he’s overbearing like bahmee (no shade lol), but some more obvious gestures like making her lunch too etc. my real beef though this episode actually is with judy. bahmee is drunk off her ass (and judy knows this) and clearly going through emotional turmoil since she was just venting about her boyfriend. kissing her back was such a bad idea 😭 judy comes across very mature, so i was expecting her to pull away and say “this is bad idea” or “you’re drunk”.

i can’t speak for others, but that’s definitely not my reasoning. Even in their pretty explicit bed scene there was no passion. Some actors just have so much passion/tension/yearning that for a second you almost question if they’re acting or just genuinely enjoy being with their co-star lol. Even in bolder (often western) shows that don’t use shyness or stereotypical bl levels of jealously as a factor, there’s that electricity feeling (sometimes) that I attribute to chemistry. Obviously, this whole conversation is about something that is totally subjective but for me I was indifferent watching them argue, casually touch, kiss and have sex. I think the younger versions of them had better chemistry tbh.

And Kohei doing his best to basically seduce any girl that shows the barest hint of interest in Taichi? Hilarious. They’re all a very unserious bunch and I am entertained

I wouldn’t call it cheating since she doesn’t know she’s falling for Judy and they’re not actually having any inappropriate conversations so far (and haven’t done anything inappropriate physically either). I do feel bad for Tae, but it’s realistic I suppose. People just fall in and out of love sometimes. I hope they break up before anything really happens between Bahmee and Judy though

yeah the recorded lectures are more for filling in any blanks in notes if you (or in this case taichi) missed something. it’s also useful to pair it with transcription software. but yea, some ppl definitely do have a preference for handwriting their notes. it was just odd to me that it was never brought up as an option even by the note taker admin lady lol. i’d be interested in talking to a current japanese student to learn if it’s a cultural difference

by 2013 it was standard where i am to type your notes in class but i guess it can be chalked up to a cultural difference or fiction being fiction

I know but at least here in Canada it’s standard to type your notes (in real time) while in class. it makes note taking easier and quicker. For the rare prof/class that doesn’t allow laptops, students with disabilities and their support get special permission to use their laptops anyway. Also, students with disabilities usually get permission to audio record the lectures themselves (like on their phone) if the classes aren’t officially recorded. that’s what i did for several of my classes

ngl as someone who needed a class note taker in uni im confused why they’re not typing their notes and why there’s no talk about access to recorded lectures. is this show set in the early 2000s or something? i never read the manga

It seems like Ba Mhee is developing admiration for Judy and that admiration is becoming more crush-like. Her feels could just stay in the admiration zone or maybe she will eventually break up with her boyfriend who knows.
