Bravo!MDLers = Cheater ScreamersI'm wondering how it's possible to "cheat" on someone who won't have sex with…
I found both partners quite cruel in this episode.

With Shino (gf) pretending to be intimate/touchy with Hagi when they are around the friends, pretending everything is alright. The arms around the neck, felt the same way, the hug (also initiated by her) felt in ep 1.
That she only did it for herself, the hug was because of her needs. Same as the arms around the neck, it felt like she needed to look good in front of the friends. I question why she had the door open while she was showering, was it just another way to antagonize Hagi? Was her hope to have Hagi come on to her once more, so she could reject him?

And Fuji can’t even explain it properly when he proses his “business” deal to Sei, he disguises it with “I can’t give you what you might need”. And he practically flees from Sei the moment he mentioned it, which is such a cruel rejection!

I don’t understand why people tend to act so prudish when it comes to talking about sex. It is normal to want to talk about your wants and needs. It should be just as normal to say hey I don’t feel it lately, or hey it’s been a while, what’s going on.

As for Fuji, yeah maybe he is Asexual or maybe he has trauma, but that is no reason to be that cruel to his partner. To the point that Sei is blaming himself and consequently thinks he is the problem. If Fuji had actually talked about it and cleared things up, Sei wouldn’t be questioning himself.

I have to agree with you that both partners seem to be somewhat abusive towards their partners. Maybe not intentionally from Fuji his side but it is there.

I need to know what Jun's deal is he seems way to invested in ThamePo's relationship he has had it out for them…
Right?! And he’s not giving that lecture to Pepper who is actually dating, who is going against the whole idols can’t date thing. I would have believed it was Thame his protection if he talked to Pepper the same way.

This feels more like a guy who is jealous and wants to create discord between Thame and Po. I’m not looking forward to next week, I agree with you that it feels like he’s setting up Po for something. I feel more and more that Jun is just ignoring the hints that are being given by him people. The amount of uncomfortableness from Po is palpable, Jun should have noticed it by now. The fact that he was constantly flirting with the GF of pepper (forgot the name), I can’t imagine she didn’t say something to him about it.

I wouldn’t be suprised if it turns out that he actually likes Po.

Damnn Jun, why are you incites poor Po? get out of him 😭
Hé is the only thing I do not really like. Leave Po and Thame alone. Saying things like this is why you and Thame don’t work, like dude that would mean it also can’t for you. I don’t like how he’s trying to come between Thame and Po, just let them be. And take a hint, Po is uncomfortable!

I'm really glad Pepper is with Thame to make him realize things since the last episode. Po was about to overthink…
Agreed. Though when I heard Thame his words to Po the first thing I thought was, Jikes that’s gonna be misinterpreted. Glad Pepper said seconds later what I was thinking.

This show don't deserve the rating yall gave it. Its a 6.8 for me and that's me being generous cuz I've willfully…
It’s because of JohanNorth their story that I’ll score this a 7,5 maybe an 8. If it was more episodes with HillTer or only them, I would’ve scored them a 5. And my lowest what I ever scored was a 6,5. I’m the end I couldn’t stand Hill or Ter anymore. Honestly even seeing Hill in episode 16 got me annoyed. That couple could have rapped their story up in 6 maybe 7 episodes. Not 13! which in ep 12 or 13 they had 34 minutes of flashbacks, which were just ridiculous!

so this ain't it. this really ain't it. idk when will perth get to act with someone who is actually a good actor,…
The author said that how Santa acted out Gun, was like Gun had come straight out of the book, she wrote.

So maybe it’s just you who doesn’t like that sort of character. Or you are either still hung up on the PerthSaint ship. You can have your opinions but to say Santa can’t act, is just far reaching! And you know, if it’s gives you such ick, why keep watching? Not every show is meant for you.

I want to know what the writers were drinking when they concocted the script for episode 3. Please tell me that…
Agreed to all of it. I felt like I needed to take a shower and rub my skin raw. And the way she did it out in the open but in front of the owner of the hotel and he didn’t seem to care/mind, is just brrr. Also her fixation on Sangmin who is a paying customer, a VIP no less 🤢🤮

Title Sangmin Dinneaw Spoiler
Yeah No episode 3 was not funny, it was disgusting! What Poppy (the manager) was doing is/was sexual harassment, and the owner who just stood by and watched while she groped and sniffed was equally disturbing. Not to mention that she tried to do the same with a paying guest!

This whole episode was just so different from the first 2 episodes, where the first two episodes were funny, lighthearted and just fun to watch at, this episode was completely the opposite. And before people start about me being prudish or what so ever, I didn’t mind the nc scenes, even though they felt so random. It’s the whole mindset of a person thinking they are allowed to touch people because they are higher or older then other people. I have a problem with the fact that of it was a male manager who did that to his female younger staff, he would have been fired a long time ago, possibly even arrested for SA.

And it was clear as daylight that that hotel owner was behind Dinneaw getting fired, he comes a cross as a guy who can’t accept no for an answer and just uses money or force to get his way. I hope to god we only get one more episode in that hotel and then go back to the homestead.

I would like to see more of the 2 couples, who had barely any screen time in this episode.

Yes I was talking about the shower scene, which was just so beautiful. I have rarely if ever seen a couple smile or laugh during a sex scene. But I think that’s what made it beautiful for me, it seems very realistic. Sex isn’t always serious, it can have sparks of mischievousness, like how SP decided nope we are going showering together, I’m not waiting another moment. But I also liked the scene with ZX in the closet and SP having him in his lap, and the scene after the credits of them. They just made it seem so natural, so relaxed and fun, which is what sex can be.

I agree with your point about those comments in series that it hurt. Like are these men all just so inpatient to not take it easy and slow? About your comment where you like to see a couple be versatile, there was a recent one out of Thailand which is called, Every You, Every Me, it was a 8 episode series and during ep 6 the top said “Do you want to switch positions next time”, he says it twice during different scenes. But I do agree it would be nice to have series where the couples actually switch. It would hopefully stop some of the misconceptions bl fans seem to have.

About the inappropriate stuff, I mean I have seen enough negative reactions on Mdl. If it’s for example for unknown or the onl1y one, which in both stepbrothers are having feelings for one another. Or a k-drama called Goblin, in which a goblin falls in love with a girl who is 19 (or 29, depends on what part of the series you are watching) and the goblin is over 900 years old, there the comments where also not mild, because of the age gaps. Personally I wonder if those people can actually see the difference between fiction/fantasy and real life.

People complain all the time, I don't know why. Not all actors are supposed to be under the mighty GMMTV, and…
Louder please! especially the part about we are going to find out eventually if there is a parallel world or not. Like 2 episodes in and all the reactions above yours are all about well Jin is knowing things so it must mean there is no alternative world, it’s probably just Chi stalking Phu. Like for crying out loud we are only 2 episodes in. Not a moment somebody thinks hey maybe Jin just thinks that what Chi is doing is some plot to get to Phu. And that’s why he saying You should tell the truth.

Not everything has to be unraveled the minute after the series starts. It was the same with Hidden Moon. So many people knew exactly how everything worked by the second or third episode and they stopped watching because the story was boring or predictable.

Just be patient and if you don’t have the patience for it, go read the book it’s about!

The scene start at 45:50 after the me mind logo, before the preview of the next episode is shown. It’s the same as how they showed a extra scene in LITA.

Did you see the end scene, after the me Mindy logo? It shows a Chi hiding behind a Pilar when Phu retrieved the cup. He was berating himself about how he should’ve talked to him. The Chi from Phu’s world seems very shy and hesitant.

Po brutally rejected yotha 😂🤣
Newton is the older brother of Yotha and Faifa, you see him mostly in the bar. He was the guy who is ep 11 barged into the room when Yotha and Gun were there. He is also the one who told Gun about Yotha being traumatized.

will watch Eps 9 tonight....hope I make it to Eps 24....can't imagine how they are going to fill all of those…
The series is aired to episodes 12, in those 24 episodes you get to see 3 main couples, who each have 8/9 episodes. So the first 8 were about Arm/Book and Arc/Force and their story. With the start of ep 9 Perth/Yotha and Santa/Gun story begins. From episode 17, the story of Junior/Faifa and Mark/Wine will start. So there will be enough story to fill all those episodes. Hope you enjoy ep 9.

Lately Thai Bl is either a hit or a miss, but non I can really recommend. They all have flaws, if it’s bad acting, bad director, bad writing, has plotholes, etc. I do think that the Taiwanese BL industry just brings out hits after hits, with the latest See Your Love, but I saw you gushing about that one already ;). I liked Love in the big City from South Korea, it’s was a very realistic series. For me most of the Japanese BL are forgettable, I have seen a lot of them but only a few I remember. Though if you are willing to try a bromance series from GMMTV, I can recommend High School Frenemy. it came out last year. I did like it, for me it felt like a bl but without the physical romantic elements. And the main leads have good chemistry, but that’s my opinion. Also have you started Eternal Butler, it’s a fun light series so far, I think it should be a sequel of AntiReset, they are both Taiwanese series I believe.

Now you have said that it seems out of place that scene in the kitchen if they were just roommates. Though Sei asking Fuji if he should stop could be just him trying to appeace Fuji. But that still makes Fuji his demand weird, that Sei can’t meet up with the person he is texting.

The Thai series I was talking about should have had a uncut version, but so far the uncut version feels more like the cut version. But then again with that series the director screwed up majorly, the mdl comments haven’t been mild. I do agree that I see a lot of people asking before they watch if the series has nc scenes. When you kindly tell them yes it has, and if you are bothered by it you can either watch the cut version or this series is not for you, they give you a comment like now a days everything is about nc’s. Like yes there are more nc scenes and some are done beautiful, the bl industry is evolving. Nothing wrong with that, I for example loved the nc scene in Unknown and See Your Love, both were just beautiful done and for me practically art work.

A thing that I really bothering me lately is the constant asking from fans who in the couple is top or bottom doesn’t matter if it’s series based, actor couples or real life couples. And the fact that they somehow think that it’s based on how somebody looks physically, talks or “handle” things, it’s honestly driving me insane.

I mean sure a long relationship can go stale and lose their initial passion, but when you are not even trying to change that and just accept it then it’s never going to go back to how things were. Moving the beds further away, is removing any intimacy at night. And with that I don’t mean sex, I’m talking about hugging, spooning or just holding each other. On top of that the constant rejection from her to him, without being actually clear is just making it worse. It’s not that hard to be honest and say hey I’m not feeling it lately, or hey my mood isn’t in it. You say reasonable excuse, I say it’s an lousy excuse.

You wonder if the girlfriend is aware, for me its pretty clear that the girlfriend is moving those beds and putting the nightstand between the beds. That’s a clear sign the gf knows, I rule out the bf because he seems to still want to be intimate and close to her. And those beds don’t move by themselves.

I personally find it easy to end a relationship with somebody I love, maybe it sounds very harsh and cold but I just love me more. I stayed 11 years with a guy all the while sacrificing my own happiness. He’s clearly unhappy, why would you expose yourself to that unhappiness?

But these are all my opinions, it’s clear we differ on those topics, and that is okay!

I agree to all of your responses. It’s weird that both men haven’t said something about this, maybe it’s difficult for them to communicate about it. I personally do not understand why Hagi puts up with it, the female partner gives of mixed signals, accepts hugs but makes excuses when it goes further than that. For me the nightstand between the bed just felt extra symbolic, to show just how far apart their physical relationship has become. It felt like an extra layer of “space” between them, an obstacle needed to be removed. It’s not like a spontaneous thing where you are in the mood and you slide the beds back together. (I don’t know if you understand me, I find myself being vague about how I describe it)

I think Sei and Fuji are just roommates with Sei having a one sides love interest, but that does not give Fuji the right to act jealous and give out demands like “dont you dare meet him”. Again mixed signals. I wouldn’t be suprised if we are getting the whole “I only start to notice you, when somebody else pays attention to you” trope from Fuji.

All of them need to learn to communicate. Within my 11 years ex relationship, we both had spells that sex barely happened, but if there was any reason the sex drive was less (or nonexistent), it was communicated. So that a person does not constantly get rejected, which is an awful feeling, you start doubting yourself and if you are even good enough, important enough for said person.

I once, months ago read and responded to your review about Takara’s treasure and it had me thinking. You are right in the fact about what you said back then, young teenagers/young adults have urges because of hormones, etc. It should be normal to want to touch and kiss your partner.

I know you don’t watch Thai series, but I recently said practically the same thing to a friend of mine after watching “Fourever You”. Where there is one couple (who just started dating a couple of weeks back) and one of the partners just shies away from any sort of touch. He meets his partner in a hotel with the guy only wearing a towel when he opens the door. And what does the partner says to him? I kid you not, he said “could you put on a shirt”. He is a young adult, and you react like that when you see your new boyfriend half naked? And it’s not like he is asexual, because in the past they have had heated kissing scenes. It’s just so mind boggling. Sorry I’m rambling. But my friend and I agreed, that it was weird.

Ooooh finally! You put words on my feelings so beautifully. I was kinda disapointed about this Jun - Po - Thame…
See that’s the thing if Jun did it to make Thame jealous and realize his feelings, why did Jun have to make Po doubt himself and the meaning behind that all nighter talking to each other on the phone. Or constantly downplay Po and Thame their interactions between them.

There is no logical reasoning to make Po feel like a fool who thought more of the interaction between Thame and him, unless you want to come between them.

I agree with that Pepper his way of handling it is clearer and causes less problems, it was a much more practical and mature advice.

I also agree with your opinion about it so far being a mature series. This episode felt very much like we were seeing high school kids trying to find out if somebody likes him yes or no, by making that person jealous.

Where is the communication in all of this? Why doesn’t Po just text Thame, telling him, he isn’t wanting the advances Jun is making on him. Or just clearly communicate, hey we are getting closer with each other, I’m getting signals from you, do you like me or am I getting my hopes up?

Episode 4 felt very realistic, if we are talking about starting a relationship. You start by getting to know each other, and sometimes that means you do an all nighter just talking. I have definitely done it with my past relationships. But this episode is just not it for me.

I do hope they wrap this up quickly because I’m not loving the thought of 7 more episodes bickering between Jun/Thame and Po stuck in the middle.

Then he needs to communicate that instead of playing stupid games that make both Thame and Po uncomfortable!
