I love watching all your dramas. You play the best characters and I usually know that if you’re going to be in the drama, it’s going to be a good one. Take care!
i haven't seen a lot of Taiwanese dramas. There are a few that I remember liking. And this one is top rated. It's such an excellent drama. Good story line and well thought out. It kept you guessing all the time and had a good ending, although probably not what was expected. I loved all the actors, the directing was really well done, and the music was perfect--I want to hear it again! Congratulations on a great drama--I will watch it again with my friends. I will be marking this as one of my favorites. Take care.
I tried to watch this because I really do like Lee Min Ho, but it was honestly so boring (and confusing) that I struggled to get through the first 2 episodes. I know there are some good actors in this drama so my conclusion is that it had to be terrible directing, in addition to poor cinematography and I didn’t care for the music either. i am really sorry for Lee Min Ho but I’m hoping that his next drama will be so much better!
I am going to start watching this drama today. I am really sad about all the negative comments even thought the rating is good) because I really love Lee Min Ho. I'm going to watch it anyway and hope that it's better than some people are saying--and that somewhere along the way LMH will get a good story with a good director.
Loved you in "Prince of Lan Ling!" I am really looking forward to the three dramas that I see you are scheduled for at the end of 2020! I hope they are as good as the part you played in Prince of Lan Ling. Take care and Good Luck!
Now that DF is gone, where else can I watch it at?
I just watched this on Tencent Video (wetv). I was very surprised how well this website was run. I appreciated the professionalism. I really hate watching anything on kissasian--it's such a slimy website with terrible ads! I really wish Dramafever was still around. I think they were bought out by another company.
Lan Ling Wang was a selfish lover who kept breaking his promises. Took the naive YXY out of her peaceful life…
Sorry, but this seems like such an odd comment. She went with him because she wanted to. And she still did good throughout her life and lived by her principles. Life is never all good or all bad. We make our decisions at the moment, then take each day and situation as it comes and do our best.
I just re-watched this and it was as good as the first time. One of my favorite "historical" dramas. There are several more--I love historical dramas (among others, of course, but I have to say these are the best).
They should do a drama about YWY daughter and Xue Wu's son, that would be nice. And should I watch Princess of…
Yes, most definitely. I only watched the first half on youtube a few years ago because they only subbed up to episode 27. Then I watched the last half about a year later. It was worth it (but that drama has nothing to do with Prince of Lan Ling).
I know romance is not the main element but can someone tell me what the romance is like in this drama?
There are several “lines of romance” throughout this drama—all good. (Some better than others of course.) What I love is the intrigue in this drama. It’s so interesting and keeps you wanting more!
I loved you in Tribes and Empires. It was so good! I would really love to see a sequel to that drama—especially with you in your “awesome princess-general” role!
Who the heck give Betty Sun such an unprofessional and ghetto profile pic that look like she just woke up? Quality…
I was just thinking how much I really love this picture! I am guessing that you (guys) must be really conservative if you just like the standard, normal pictures that look like everyone else. —which is okay of course, if that’s who you want to be.
I came here to say how much I really love your profile picture! I just love your hair and expression! You are so cute!! (And a good actor!) I can tell you are your own person! Keep up the good work and take care!
Finished!—I liked this drama—and the ending was good. Good premise for a story. ML (make lead) seemed a little too young and baby faced at times, but good overall. Not sure about someone’s comment re last 10 episodes—I liked them, but I also have not seen other versions of this drama. (I would love to see the one with Tony Leung even though it was made quite some time ago. I haven’t been able to find it yet.) The only reason I didn’t give this drama a higher rating and I wouldn’t watch it again is because of the really irritating and constant interruptions of cover photo and repetitious music every few minutes throughout the entire 50 episodes! It was very distracting. PS someone just replied that you can watch it on YouTube without the interruptions, so I’ll check that out for my friends. Thank you.
The photo(s) are 2 variations of the cover photo and I am guessing that the few seconds of music are maybe some part of the theme music that repeats itself in a very annoying high-pitched manner. There is part of a song that plays at the end of each episode and I actually really like that music. But the several constant interruptions throughout each episode is so frustrating! I am assuming this must be the same for other viewers. Is this happening only on Amazon Prime? Thanks for your reply.
