Blossom and Zhu Yu's circumstances are a bit different. Blossom's source material is a massive 523 chapters novel, and the drama is only 34 episodes. A lot of stuffs didn't made it to the drama, and even the main plot had to be condensed a lot.

Zhu Yu's source material is only 180 chapters even counting the side stories, and the drama is 40 episodes. So, they have more room there for the adaptation. So, I'll stay positive for the time being.
