Ye Li was ruthless as well in a way. Basically shattered Consort Dowager Qin and her 3rd Uncle's life long devotion toward their friend/master in an instant.

She truly is unhinged when it comes to achieving her goals.

Feud and this drama got the same writer. She is very good in her craft.

I suspected the plot with the edict as such, that Consort Dowager Qin had some reservations against Empress Dowager. Just not in this way.

Ngl, I kinda felt bad for Qin. All her life she trusted her good friend's word, and Empress Dowager.

So far, I also can't take her as a full on villain. At most somewhere in the grey area.

None of the 2nd CPs look hopeful so far lol

This drama is messing us with all those highly likeable couples...
