Is it normal for a historical kdrama to have a fantasy genre like this? With demons and deities? I've watched a lot historical kdrama's in the past but I don't remember having seen something like this.
It's more normal in cdrama's (I've been watching them a lot the last 3 years)
Honestly I started watching this drama because of Xu Kai and the drama was good enough but I agree that it was rushed. Let's hope that his next drama will be more completed.
I have a question. I'm now at ep 16 end there is almost to no romance between the main leads, will this change soon? To me the side couple is more interesting than the main leads, sadly.
Which episode was this? I just remember that she’s able to with putting red peppers in her eyes or something…
It was indeed a mistake from the writer because Mo Qing Chen on the other hand did it well, I've never seen him show emotions while he wasn't supposed to. Maybe he made Lin Chi cry in the drama because she's a woman and she's supposed to be weak?
If so then I will keep waithing because the drama is worth it <3

The story became better later but the romance between te leads stayed disappointing, sadly.

This was a really cute drama to watch!
