Really like this post from a longtime fan. It sums up PXR and PHM quite well : “The distant mountains are like daisy, this is the theme word that came to my mind when I was retouching the picture. Then I scrolled through Weibo and was surprised when Huamei released Reuters. I wrote, "After watching Reuters today, I was speechless. The first thing I thought of was when she was the host, confident and stable. This journey was like rain. After the rain, the sky and the earth are clear, the mist is green, and the distant mountains are like daisy. And she is a poplar that has grown just right, and she is going to a better tomorrow with all her enthusiasm. "The distant
mountains are like daisy, and the mountains are dark. The former is the feeling that Officer Pang passed by in a hurry, and the latter is the signature of the actor Peng who played Officer Pang in my heart.
Huamei has not yet had time to tie up, but based on the plot that I have seen so far, the key word for Pang Hongmei here is "possibility", which belongs to Peng Xiaoran's possibility.
She always mentioned that every actor has his own image limitations, "but within the set goal, I can try to widen this boundary for myself." Officer Pang is the person who perfected my understanding of actor Peng. An extremely important piece of the puzzle. She is not as innocent and soft as the previous characters, but more like a piece of armor has been stripped off by the world, and a piece of flesh is exposed. She has been burned, blown by the wind, and bruised by the cold. She is also fearless and born with the potential of death. the power of. This sense of freshness and impact is similar to what "Legend of the Demon Cat" brought to me. Although one is good and the other is evil, they are equally weird.
I'm ashamed to say that before Huamei started airing, I couldn't imagine Xiao Ran playing a strict and energetic police officer. But she did become her, and I believe she is a female police officer who is ignorant of the world and puts her mission first. Her grief needs to be controlled, and her tears are calm and silent. Unlike Jiu Ling, it is not a suffocation and forbearance, but an uprightness and clarity rooted in character and identity. It is clear that he is risking his life at all times, but he seems to be saying one sentence all the time, see you next year, the road is long, and we will walk side by side.
Actor Peng is not like this, like a poplar that has grown just right, heading towards a better tomorrow with all his enthusiasm.”
It is😭 I’m so sad. I really liked watching these two, regardless of if they were together or not. In fact…
Yes, both leads have brought the characters to life so you enjoy their separate scenes as well as their joint scenes. This is how a show should be. I like watching PHM investigating things just as much as I like JDY working to build the sub.
It is😭 I’m so sad. I really liked watching these two, regardless of if they were together or not. In fact the whole cast is great. They really brought life to the characters and show. This is honestly the most entertaining Cdrama I have watched in the last 2 years.
OMG! Huamei exceeded 100 million views! And took up a market share of 23% yesterday! This is wild!😭 Edit: Even the afternoon rerun viewing is breaking 1… this show truly deserves its title of Eyebrow Emperor.
I am slowly catching up and I wanna beat her ass lol
Haha yup she turned 33 this month! She and LXY are the same age actually. I’m not sure why she looks so young. She actually looks younger now than she did when she was younger lol. They say that may be why Pang Hongmei is so popular. She’s fierce but she’s also a little bit cute. She’s been trying out more mature makeup lately so she looks a bit older.
I can understand what they’ve said. It’s essentially a compliment. They’re basically saying their acting…
Costume dramas can be both serious and idol dramas. This commenter is saying they should play serious costume dramas. Serious costume dramas usually have better production and plot. Examples are Serenade of Peaceful Joy, Story of Minglan, Royal Nirvana or Rise of the Phoenixes.

Unfortunately fantasy isn’t considered “serious” most of the time. Some actors won’t even touch it. This doesn’t mean they can’t do a good job but what this commenter is saying is they both deserve better and these type of shows are considered better.
(Comment from a fan):)🔭🔭🔭🔭🔭🔭🔭🔭🔭🔭Hugs Forney for driving a flying saucer9 minutes…
I can understand what they’ve said. It’s essentially a compliment. They’re basically saying their acting skills are too good to be stuck in idol dramas which are considered the lowest level show and have questionable quality lately. The type of shows they’ve recommended are for better actors and are hard to get in to and it’s what a lot of traffic would like to transform to but not many have been as successful as these two.

https://m.weibo.cn/detail/4982850505674294 I can kinda get why they stick her with 95s but I think older undiscovered 90s would better a better route. Unless the 95s look older like her costar from GBMP, they feel too boyish to give safe, secure combo that suits her delicate looks.

It’s a shame cause the other female villains are interesting. Why drop the ball on her? I didn’t know they were the same age! I hope she can work more with actors her age. I feel like she has more chemistry with them and if she works with the hidden 90s actors like in this show, the pairings are really good.
