Rather busy today. Sorry haven't been active again after last night (or this morning dawn?)
Happy to see so many new comments since then, and more hopeful for EP 12 and Pat and Pran. I see that most if not all are healthy and quality discussions as usual.
Keep it up! Will reply to the comments later tonight!
Back in EP 7, I was predicting that there will be yet a third OST for Bad Buddy, as a natural progression from ‘Just Friends’, then to ‘Secret’. Now finally we have ‘Our Song’. Happy to be right in my prediction.
And I thought, it would somehow be linked to the jingle and melody we heard at the intro of every episodes and parts of episodes. It indeed is the same song, and it has been there all these while. Been loving that right from the very first episode.
I cried a lot when I heard Pran sang and played it in full the first time for Pat. All these with the guitar he loved to play so much but was forbidden, the guitar (note: not the same guitar that Pran had) that helped to lead him closer to Pat (remember the guitar pick scene in the music room?)
The first one was an expression of Pran’s hidden feelings for Pat. The second one was an expression of Pat’s assurance to Pran. And the last one is the most beautiful song of their love story together, which they completed together. Pran couldn’t finish that song without Pat. It’s really their song, and theirs only.
What to do of the fact Pat was crying quite profusely at the gate, but Pran kept quite straight face?
I mentioned in EP 10 POV I made how Pat was holding it all in for Pran. He didn’t want to show weakness and crying before Pran. But he was clearly at his breaking point.
In that bus scene at the start of EP 11, if you recall, Pat shed a single tear as he was comforting Pran just before the scene cuts off to the intro and beach.
First of all, I'm so happy this forum isn't littered with the freakout in the YouTube comments over top & bottom,…
Regarding that 'break up', I'd rather hold my judgment on anything until we actually see EP 12. The finale preview will be the most deceptive of all of them.
Words spoken does not necessarily match the scenes too. So, there's more than what meets our eyes. Many of us went crazy because how emotionally invested we have been to Pat and Pran, but after calming ourselves down, I think we have to relax and think calmly of what may actually happen.
hi!!! first time commenting and i have a toooooon of theories, but here’s one i like the most (NOT confermed,…
Hi! Just to let you know, I think about it in the same way too, regarding the clothing they wear and the timing. The ending part seemed to be directly connected to the end of EP 10, and that is indeed a possibility, given the way that the last part of EP 11 is played.
Don't you find the sequence of scenes rather weird too? How those scenes were played right when Pran was singing his song? And it ends with Pat looking at Pran (still in his red shirt, looking at Pran as he finished his song).
Honestly, there are too many inconsistencies for us to figure out everything based just on such a short scene and preview, and with the ever misleading previews all these while, especially for the finale, we shouldn't be quick to jump to conclusion.
There is a lot going on in the final preview. And it makes it seem like everything is in the time jump - but come…
I agree with you, there is a lot happening during that song, as they lead towards the EP 11 ending. I have written about it earlier too just before I slept earlier on.
You just fleshed it out clearly. The words spoken does not necessarily match the scenes shown, and that has happened previously in the earlier previews too. Those scenes does not really necessarily mean that they have broken up or anything.
Honestly if everything really turns out to be a genius plan, they really have done it right to get our attention. Just a preview is enough to make so many people go crazy. That's why we have to calm down...
Done rewatching EP 11 for the second time, and sharing some thoughts on the last part.
That scene in Part 4 when Pat and Pran wear the matching red shirts really has the vibes of a Chinese wedding. Pran settling the buttons for Pat really feels like them being husbands doing it for one another.
And Pat's words inspired Pran to finish his song, 'You never left me, you are fighting alongside me'. And even in the end, as they said, 'Let's go home' and 'Good luck, Buddy', they never break up with each other.
They just pledged to make the best of whatever they could do at that time. Hoping to fight together on their own, no matter how hurtful that might be for each of them, because they wanted their families to reconcile with each other. (Context: Junior and mum storyline earlier)
That may take years and more, but they knew that they always had one another, deep in their hearts. They purposefully held themselves from seeing each other to help fix their family conditions, because just as their love is pure and unbreakable, but they also know that family are also precious. They won't want them to be separated forever. Their love isn't a selfish love. They love one another and their families too.
What they saw in the end of EP 11, of the scenes of them having dinner happily together is a dream of what would have happened if both families weren't enemies, but also a vision of the future that they wanted to make a reality.
Will we see that becoming a reality in EP 12? We'll see. And don't forget P'Aof's multiple possible endings being shot, and the way the last part of EP 11 part 4 was delivered to us. There were many possibilities, and let's not speculate too much, but wait patiently for the next seven days. Those might serve to confuse and intrigue us viewers, to excite us for the finale.
(Signing off for tonight. I am actually crying as I type out all these above. Have a good night everyone! Listening to Our Song (the new OST) one more time before I sleep)
You know what I like from this Bad Buddy comment board so much?
It is the very rare place where there's minimum war and arguments, and where when we encounter happy moments, we share that and made our happiness and joy all the more, and when we encounter sad, heartbreaking moments, we share that too, and come closer together, lessening the pain and help one another to cope.
I am almost about done rewatching the EP 11 properly for the second time. If you haven't watched it, please do. And stay positive!
Stats wise, just to share that we are going to cross 2 million views mark for EP 11 in YouTube in less than 30 minutes. That's still the fastest to reach this point as far as I know.

And he has been their Cupid, in a sense, at EP 6.
In that bus scene at the start of EP 11, if you recall, Pat shed a single tear as he was comforting Pran just before the scene cuts off to the intro and beach.
As I mentioned and some others mentioned earlier here too, never trust the previews completely. No, especially not the preview for the finale.
I'm not saying that there aren't any grains of truth there, but they can be intentionally misleading.
And don't forget that time-skip is itself a trope as well. Who knows (let's not speculate), that this is their way of breaking yet another trope!
Let's just wait for EP 12 calmly. And keep encouraging each other!

Thanks for sharing with us the things had made BB so loveable and precious in our hearts!
So, it may well be just a way for the preview to fool us to the max.
