1. The top/dominant guy has to be the more masculine, more muscular one (I am sure you know what I am talking about, it's heavily implied.)
2. EP 11 'curse' has to be about angst due to cheating/misunderstanding/disagreement/some unnecessary drama - no, Pat and Pran showed us that, they did what they did, because exactly they loved each other so much, and made that decision most maturely, given their circumstances at the time.
And yes, to me, the EP 11 curse has been broken by Bad Buddy.
A true happy ending, the happiest of all endings is not just happiness for Pat and Pran, but happiness, acceptance, forgiveness for everyone.
That is what true happy ending is all about. To me, EP 11 shows us just that. And to do that, sometimes/often times, one needs to retreat first, bide his time, before getting that true victory in the end.
Remember I mentioned earlier how Lion King 2 storyline, inspired by Romeo and Juliet feels so similar to Bad Buddy?
In that movie, Kiara (Simba's daughter) spoke to Kovu, both represents Pat and Pran respectively:
"We have to go back." "If we don't, our respective (lion) prides will be separated forever."
Junior and his mum's interactions this episode shows us that family is important. And from Pran's flashback, family is important to him, and Pat must also feel the same as well.
They made that choice because they still want to resolve their family situation, in their own way. Them running away may give them time to themselves and be happy together. But that is not a true happy ending. The true happy ending is when they are together, and their families too can accept each other, and forgive one another their past mistakes.
Sometimes, that requires them to retreat first, to bide their time. Their love (remember that song Pran made, played and sung for Pat) is as strong as ever. There is no need for label for that love.
Friend? Boyfriend? Husband? Wife? Love is love. There is no need for label for that. They may not yet be able to completely show that to everyone (their family is the last hurdle). But I am sure, after those few years, things will change. They will get what is due to them. Acceptance, support and love from both their families for their LOVE. For them to be together, to the end.
Same here, P'Hitted too close to the home again ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜BTW please take care!Sending hugs and strength your…
They 'part' ways amicably. It wasn't a misunderstanding and all. It was a very mature decision for their age, and considering their situation at that time. The usual break-up trope was mostly misunderstanding, cheating and all.
In a way, that's how Bad Buddy, Pat and Pran elevate themselves above all other BL series.
It was actually a very beautiful storyline. Considering the context and the progression of their characters, the family dynamics and all, it all fit into place.
It felt really just real. It's the reality. But what does not change is LOVE.
Pat and Pran loves one another no matter what. True love is something that is tested with fire and with time. If they truly love each other, as I am sure they do, they will find their way back to each other to a most happy 'ending'. There is no ending for them, it will be just a new beginning. (My thoughts here)
Pat and Pran will prove to their parents that their love can last much more and much stronger compared to how long their parents' hatred had lasted. This is the power of love, the love that will overcome hatred and obstacles. Please believe in Pat and Pran.
Pat and Pran were very mature for their age, and they made their decisions together as the best for that time. In order to win big, sometimes you have to retreat first. They wanted to prove to everyone (especially to their parents) that their love isn't just a mere fling or passion. It was way deeper than that. They will have a most happy ending. Trust me with this. I am very, very sure of it.
(Note: I will reserve more thoughts until I finish watching the episode with full English translation)
Healing trauma takes time, and that applies to Pran's mum and Pat's dad. But it is possible. In the novel, the trauma was even worse, and Pat managed to get everything back together despite how deep the trauma, misunderstanding and divisions went in the novel.
Now that in the series, Pat and Pran are together in this, I have faith in them. There is a clear way out of this. Their parents will see the folly of their continued hatred, and came together. Not only Pat and Pran will be together, but their families too.
To me, I see the happy scenes at the end of EP 11 not as just imaginary thoughts/illusion, but a real future that will come to be. We just have to be patient for 7 days to wait to see all that.
The only thing I don't like is how they seem to put their feelings completely aside to just apologize to their…
Agreed with you. I do have the same feeling. But in the Asian context, family is still everything. But I am sure that EP 12 will amaze us how the story will turn. Don't worry!
Hi everyone who watched, calm down.See my spoiler in reply below (Don't see if you haven't watched EP 11 yet!)

Yes, now I watched the trailer of the end, they will meet after couple of years, ho well, life, but the way it…
It's way too early to make any judgment. EP 12 is going to more than make up for the roller coaster we felt this episode.
I have faith in Pat and Pran. Their love is true love, tested and will last, much more than their parents' hatred lasted. They made their decisions very maturely, much more mature than what their parents did.
As part of story and character development, honestly I feel that that EP 11 ending is actually quite good. In…
Yes, true love is one that is tested by fire and by time. This is to prove to their parents that just as their parents' hated lasted so long, their love too can last even longer, and forever!
Every week wait is going to be longer than the previous one.
They never failed doing this from EP 1 all the way until now. I can vouch for it myself.
And yes, the wait for EP 12 is going to be the longest ever in my life. I don't think I can ever wait for an episode for that long, ever again. Seriously.
Honestly, I am sure by the time the Eng Sub is up and knowing how many people were dying to know the translation of the words they spoke, after knowing how the story turns out (no spoiler), EP 11 will see a phenomenal burst in viewership.

Been loving that jingle so much, and now that I know it's the ultimate OST, I love it 1000x more!
However, Pat and Pran's story to me is so much better even compared to the already amazing Birdy and Jiahan.
But I am sure that in EP 12 they will more than make it up to us. Trust in Pat and Pran please!
However, I believe in Pat and Pran's love. Next EP they will make it up to us. I am sure.
GMMTV, please don't do this to us!
My heart can't take it either (watching now)
