In a nutshell. This whole storyline could have been done in a one, 30 minute episode instead of dragging on ... and on .. and on.

Episode 4 wasn't much better with only one snippet of new information. This is a snooze fest thus far.

MDL members also seem to overlook the fact you can rate, and review each episode individually as you watch. Instead, they immediately go to the overall rating.

Not liking "The New Employee"?

You can see in some scenes where they used the footage from the original shoot, which was completed when the scandal hit and recasting was required.

It may be they edited in shots from the original shoot, in order to save money once they had to recast.

One has to wonder if the original was better (before the recast and reshoot). Unfortunately, we will never know.

The webtoon was definitely better than this, and had the drama stuck to it - and perhaps if the recasting hadn't been necessary followed by an entire reshoot - it might have been good, but this was what we were left with.

Agreed. K-BL has been improving slowly by miniscule steps, but this drama seemed determined to ruin it all.

There was something 'lacklustre' about this drama wasn't there? I also couldn't put my finger on it though. It had so much promise but it never really hit that sweet spot.

I also failed to see chemistry between the 3 MLs until the very end.

No. That's why I put in brackets a conversation NOT outside the studio. The conversation takes place just after Jang Jae-Young agrees to help Choo Sang-Woo with the game, and Choi Yu-Na asks him why he is being spineless and ends by calling him pathetic. This is prior to the start of the romantic relationship. The conversation takes place around the 1hr 45m mark.

I saw at least one new scene, which is a conversation between Choi Yu Na and Jang Jae Young in a hallway NOT outside their studio. There is additional dialogue in various scenes as well.
