I’m not fluent in mandarin but I do know most of the common phrases so that’s how I figured that it was possibly machine translation. Kisskh and Dramacool takes everything off of Youku.

He’s the type to plan and do big things when the time is right so to get acceptance he would have waited to meet with her parents once the business is successful and more developed so that it shows his ability to take care of ZY. Li Xun already knew they wouldn’t be accepted. He asked to meet her parents with the plan to use that meeting as another reason to make ZY break up with him.

I think she’ll pursue him by making him aware of her presence but not really being with him so he goes after her. Based on the preview, I hope she gets under his skin and makes him squirm a bit before he gives into his fate and they get back together.

She didn’t drop out of graduation exams. She passed everything. But gave up her selection for graduate studies. They will all graduate except for Li Xun since he goes to jail.

But yes, I can see her parents POV even if I disagree with their methods or the mother’s prejudice of LX from previous encounter.

I don’t think it will be easy. Form some trailers, it looks like they both go after each other once misunderstandings are understood. One seven she’s holding his hand at the hospital and another scene he’s running scared through a hospital so I’m thinking/hoping she makes him work for it. Not sure about how the novel went.

I saw a trailer where Gao was arrogant and sticking a finger in his face so FZJ will still be around but don’t know to what extent.

Not only did Gao steel the compound, but he also was the one that instigated/escalated things between LX and FZJ. He was the one that put everything on FZJ and also put Li Lan in FZJ’s sights.

If you watch him in their first year of college, he’s one to gather people around him to make himself better or to help himself like when he started the interest group. He would make a good businessman just not a good developer (most of his own ideas/programming were short sighted or missed important details) which is why in the first episode he said to his employees, buying the competitor’s program, was cheaper than making their own. It’s also why RenDi called L&P a copycat. Most of the games that made the company big were copies, buy-outs, etc. I give him credit for business but not for innovation.

He still owns his shares, just no control over the company. From trailers, I see that Gao looks very arrogant and controlling over FZJ so he seems too be calling the shots. FXJ’s family probably got some compensation but not LX’s shares.

I actually see that ZY is one of his priorities. A priority to protect from himself since everyone else he loved was gone because he was not adequate. In his mind, that’s how he was protecting her, by making her hate him and move on from him to a better future. Because no matter how he turned his life around, he still wasn’t good enough to protect the ones he loved.

I’m not saying it’s right but she was a priority in a way because he was not planning to be out of jail for a long, long time especially if FZJ had died. When he got out of jail, he thought she moved on with her childhood friend because he saw them together after RenDi said they came back from overseas to talk marriage.

I’m trying to be optimistic that Gao wasn’t that dark. It looked like he was scared/nervous at the grave site when he kept putting all the blame on FZJ as if he didn’t mean for that to happen to Li Lan.

I was like…no…white truck of doom is supposed to be KDrama not CDrama.

Okay. That makes me happy since it means they get back together midway and hopefully it means things aren’t too rushed in the end.

Ok…someone explain the first few pictures…is the second one a pill meaning he gets surgery? I know there was a hospital scene where he was on a stretcher. There’s a hat, snowflake…and I’m trying to think back to some spoiler scenes I saw.

Gao totally used FZJ as his knife. So from what others said, they totally made him darker than the novel and the innocent bystander was Li Lan.

You may be right. The first few seconds of this video shows GJH and FXJ and it looks like GJH is the one in control.

Definitely lying to her is a different issue. I’m not a fan of that trope and usually hate it because it never takes the FL’s emotional repercussions into account. The only thing I can say is that I understand both characters mindsets in these situations. He was planning a point of no return action…murder for revenge…life sentence or death penalty from what someone said about the novel I think. I definitely don’t like the fake cheating to make the FL hate you trope either. I hope they just left it in the first part and don’t have it again later.
