This drama is a bit under rated, solid acting, a nice OST and a few twist. However, it is a little draggy, this story could have been told in 15 episodes. Also, I loved the golden girls/grannies banter and might, so cute. The child actor playing their daughter is so amazing and cute, everyone will fall in love with her as she opens every episode with her version of whats to come!

Re-watched recently after all the remakes, this one is the best! Realistic story, humanistic characters, solid acting and strong OST.

Hey Sushi, do you know where can I watch episodes 16 through 20 raw? I only found episode 20 on You Tube, every thing else had been deleted. Also Chobling's downloads from his blog only go to episode 15.

Excellent plot premise however, weak execution because the story line devolves into C grade sci-fi movie tropes. What a waist of talent and a good plot.

You are right, my comment does need clarification so I made some changes. I think this would have been a better drama with fewer episodes. The tropes of secrets and evil deeds leading to misunderstandings and mayhem dragged on way to long. Was the king really that clueless or just in denial about the evil queen. Keeping secrets to protect Shang Gu: Tian Qi's selfish actions leads to death and destruction in all realms and almost total annihilation of the god realm. Bai Jue repeats this mistake and his selfish actions leads to more death, destruction, heartache and pain. His plan and justification doesn't hold up for me, also this where the drama gets really draggy. I have not read the novel but at this point in the drama the story is repetitive.

Very under rated drama- It has a bad title choice that does not convey the depth of the drama plot and it also has an excellent strong very well synced OST.

Epic and under rated! Girl power extraordinaire! The perseverance of people in this drama speaks for its self, both female and male!

This drams is a bit over rated; the acting is very good but the story line drags on mercilessly and it has a tendency to make some of characters a little too naive . If you want to watch a worthy drama I recommend Princess Silver and the Legend of Fu Yao

This drama is very under rated! An excellent plot; superb acting and the soundtrack is one of the best of all times because it enhances the story line and is very well synced with the plot. The first 12 episodes does make for a slow start but if you can hang in there, its worth the wait!

It is an adventurous thriller love story.

This drama supersized me and the OST blew me away! The amount attention paid to the details about the artistry, craft, history and traditions of Chinese fabric making was educational and astounding. I found myself not skipping through any part of this drama. Yes it's an easy going standard fluff trope drama but the execution is beautiful.
