I’m surprised for not seeing the king: eternal monarch make it to anybody’s favourite list! I know the drama…
A drama can have great songs but if they don't quite sync with the scenes or situations or if there are too many songs, then they don't standout or become very memorable. I think this may be the case with King: Enteral Monarch.

Great list! I love Faith and actually all the dramas you recommended I think the only two I have not yet watched…
Thanks and Heads Up: The famous song Bogoshipda (Kim Bum Soo), that you here so many people singing in K dramas especially when they are drunk; having relationship problems or karaoking, that song is from this drama's OST.

Stairway to Heaven, this drama came out just when K dramas were beginning to pick up global syndication traction outside of Asia.

On Stranger Season 2 Oct 7, 2020
You must watch the 1st season first to really appreciate this drama. Please Note: The Netflicks subtitles are moving a bit fast and the first few episodes have a few mistranslations or misinterpretations, which are not a big problem if you have watched the first season.

complex personal relationship? explain pls
The intricacies and delicacies of relationships, whether hostilities or resentments; family feuds and squabbles internally and externally have some twist and outcomes beyond the usual standard tropes.

is this the chronological order of the candle in the tomb?
Yes, some are listed as related content but like the lost tomb series, because they don't share the same names it can get a bit confusing.

Thank you, Kim Wan Hee for this awesome clarification. What is also important to know about this series is:
1) Every series contains different generations of family members from the original nine grave robbing families that is why watching The Mystic Nine, which takes place in the 1930s and its side stories first or early on is really important, there are also characters fromThe Mystic Nine that are referenced or reappear in later series.

2) The Candle in The Tomb series, which started with two movies based on a novel by Zhang Muye. It also has characters who hail from the grave robbing families some even have the same paternal family names and it covers multiple periods and generations.
Chronicles of a Ghostly Tribe (Movie)
The Ghouls (Movie)
Candle in The Tomb
Ghost Blows Out the Light: Finding Hu Ba Yi
Candle in the Tomb: The Weasel Grave
Candle in the Tomb: The Wrath of Time

Once again, Thanks!

Very good life and love is a journey drama and leaning to accept the truths about yourself and the people around you, the good and bad. Nice tight OST! Another great drama like Chocolate where everything is not spelled out, the writers give viewers enough clues and insights to understand the actions of the leading characters and their resolve.

I have mixed feelings about this drama. I started watching it as it was airing but was only able to finish it…
The biggest rescue and helping people was the last few episodes. Kang, the rescue center and hospital crew teaming up to save the environment and everyone in the village from twenty-five years of vile toxic waste and yes they took out some bad guys who had been killing the village people for twenty -five years and getting away with it!

A solid Thai light and fluffy standard trope drama with a few serious scenes. The leads have great chemistry and well worth watching even though it could have been fewer episodes. The overall cast acting is a little inconsistent but as an ensemble cast, they manage to pull it off. Very underrated!

This drama has an excellent OST and great acting, however, the story is filled with too many character contradictions and flaws. Also, the story becomes very draggy midway with unnecessary deaths and actions, it could have been told in 16 to 20 episodes. The male leads over the top manhandling and wrist jerking of the female lead is way beyond a normal slap kiss and comes off more like an act of criminal violence. The best character in this drama is the smart outspoken kick butt, Auntie Mam!

Rarely do you watch a drama where the lead character is unlikeable but the story is so well written that you are compelled to watch. Often we see conflicted leads but this guy is also a mountain of contradictions. It will be interesting to see how his life plays out in season two.

What?? There is season 2???
I think everyone who likes this drama is hoping for a season 2 or sequel. OCN is known for doing multipul seasons or great follow up dramas.

In a global pandemic, if you need a little light and fluffy this drama may do the trick. The script is well written and does a great job of incorporating the character's personal lives and careers into a meaningful story. It is a cute, quiet and slow pace drama that may not be for everyone.

On Ever Night Season 2 Mar 29, 2020
I did not have high expectations because Dylan Wang was a very bad choice for the lead replacement. The second half was better but watching him go through the motions without any emotions ruined the entire drama. Ireine Song did her best to make up for his shortcomings but her character's script was very lacking and her lines too repetitive. The only thing they really did in this drama was survive, but as characters and a couple, they did not really grow.

Thanks for the list, there are really some great daily dramas, I wish more of them were subbed. Yellow Boots and Ugly Alert are two of my favorite dailies. Ones I like to see if they get subbed are You Are So Beautiful and Stormy Lovers.

I like really like your list and I would add Secret, which is one of my personal favs.
Also, if you have not watched it yet, the original 1% of Anything 2003, with Kang Dong Won and Kim Jung Hwa is over all a better story and way funnier than Something about the 1%.
