Same here! I keep trying to continue to see what’s the hype but it’s taking forever. I just can’t get into it.

I also thought this drama was WAY overrated but please do not give up on Chinese series!

I agree with you. They’re constantly trying to shove life lessons by spoon feeding it to viewers. Its like they don’t trust us to understand if it’s done subtly. Everything was spelled out for you with endless, boring conversations.

I had the same questions too. It was so confusing because sometimes when someone is telling the truth I hear something like an echo sound. They should’ve just “ding- ed” it when she hears lies and nothing when it’s the truth.

Don’t forget you’ll also get to watch that zen dude drink tea and do a lot of meditating.

I keep saying that I don’t consider what he did to her before he fully trusted her to be abuse. She wandered in an army camp as a man and was acting suspiciously. Any general would’ve her killed on the spot.

Haha!! I think at the beginning most ppl were not XL/XY shippers because, PAIN! Now it’s like okay suck my blood any time!!!

I was a Jing shipper once! As the show went on, I slowly (and carefully) got on the XL bandwagon. I fully hopped on when XY was presented as the princess during the ceremony. Jing’s insecurity when he saw that she was beautiful was a major turn off!
