What kind of person is Mei Zhuyu in Wu Zhens heart? Is he really someone who is going to gossip to people that she is the Cat Demon? Then she says she worries that one day he will seek revenge against her? Again, really? Is he that kind of thoughtless person? He literally gave up everything in his life INCLUDING his own life for her sake and she can just treat him like he’s a frivolous person? She can’t get over the fact that he broke the barrier? How about the fact that you attacked him without restraint? Yes, he picked up the sword against her but that’s survival instinct and he dropped it as soon as he realized what he was doing. ugh I’m so mad

It seems they are not weak in the novel and they manage the demon matters along w the demon market like unofficially kinda

For ALP it has a complete storyline not bogged down with unnecessary characters or drama. Evildoers are punished and good people get redemption. It’s also incredibly beautiful-one of the most visually beautiful I’ve ever watched and the CGI still stands out 4 years on. I think both Kai and. Zhou Dongyu did well at showing the different personalities of Bai Jue/Qingmu and Shanggu/Houchi. They really feel like they are different characters not just another version of the original. Bai Jues
Love for Shanggu is so heartbreaking. My only complaint is that it ended too quickly

Not in the novel, in the drama

I’ve only started reading the novel yesterday and it’s not the same in the book. MZY never took any celibacy oath and was never expected to stay in Changxi palace for life. He is very strong and can handle most anything in a pinch, except Wu Zhen lol. In the drama I didn’t see them as having lost their reputation just having entered seclusion after being forced out of Chang’an. When MZY goes back they all seem to be serious and practicing hard so it’s a bit weird that they come down the mountain and can’t do anything? 🤷‍♀️

Yes, you posted the rating of FoF and MM. I was saying that even tho MM has a higher rating I couldn’t get into it

All time fave but I could not get into Moonlight Mystique.
Didn’t know it was a side story until they mentioned Purple Moon stuff and I was like…this sounds very ALP world and then I looked into it.

It’s very vibey haha I loved the soundtrack, the story, the comedy, the visuals. One of the best for me last year.

Fangs of Fortune is a good demon/human drama. Really funny but also tragic and beautiful
