He has trust in his brothers that they would not do anything to harm him. He went back to the sect to properly disconnect from them because he is an upright person. He believes that it is the right thing to do based on how he was raised with in the sect. He is a righteous person so he’s not going to back down from something because it’s the easy thing to do.

Wish we could have had a whole episode about Changxi palace and MZY time there. I love the outfits and the whole vibe. They really should have devoted more of the drama to it since we’ve spent so much time in the demon market 🙄

I agree. We see in the flashback his shifu says he has to make a connection with it. I also think his shifu would want him to have it not matter what happened.

I really wish the drama would focus more on MZY. How does he go from ep 11- I won’t marry her to ep 21-I’m going to marry her. Yes, it’s established that he’s fallen for her, I have no issue there but where’s the decision to leave Changxi Palace behind? This has been his life since he was young. He wants to find out more about his parents deaths. There’s nothing. I hope it will be addressed in the next eps but seeing as how we love to focus on side characters I don’t have much hope 🙄
