Exactly my thought. Westernization ruins Kdramas. And Netflix loves doing this to appeal to a broader american audience ... We just want english subs but stop with the westernization shit.
This is meh. As expected with westernized Netflix drama. 80% of them turns out to be mediocre. A high budget is not enough to make a good show, this show brillantly demonstrated it.

Exactly my thoughts! I am never surprized or thrilled. The story is so conventional and bland. There is not a single thrilling moment and I struggle to build any connection with the characters as their story is just ... not very interesting.
I guess censorship plays a big role in this trend yea, screenwritters and directors don't try anything unconventional or uncommon by fear of having their work censored.
