There was a business dispute in the past between Guan Heng Wei's grandpa and Liang Jing Cen's grandpa causing Guan's family misfortune. Heng Wei wants to avenge his family with the help of his best friend Wei Yu Quan. Since there is an office rumor that Heng Wei is gay, he uses it to his advantage to avoid his grandma matchmaking him. When he sees Jing Cen's physique and behavior can pass as a man he makes her cut her hair to be a guy and becomes his gay lover.
Also, Heng Wei is behind the purchase of the Liang family bakery, but he makes Yu Quan the fake owner/landlord, hence the alternative drama title 'Ghost CEO'.
I don't think the sisters and their parents will be happy when they find out about the act of revenge, despite the growing romance. Especially Jing Fan (Jing Cen's sister) is a tough lawyer. Also, not sure how Grandma Guan will react when she knows her grandson's lover's grandpa is the cause of the fall of her family.
With that many 40 episodes of 1 hour each, any dramatic plot can happen.
I thought this drama is a pure romcom similar to Coffee Prince. After watching Ep 1 subbed, this is darker and may go melo, although the ending will be happy because of the rom-com element. Here's my thought (spoiler below):
I'm so glad a clip of this series showed up in YouTube shorts else I'd have missed out on this delightful series.…
If you want to see more of Song Yan Fei's dramas I recommend Cross Fire and Where the Lost Ones Go. I watched both and they're great. She played completely different types of characters there. Cross Fire focuses more on friendship/teamwork between gamers and she played a nerdy girl. Where the Lost Ones Go is a melodrama. Her chemistry with her costars in both dramas is very good too.
I can't believe myself... I still continue watching this drama for the THIRD couple (spoiler below)! I mean, I…
The first couple: Than is such a tragic character and Meena is a liar and an opportunist. The second couple Arthit is spoiled and despicable and Cathy is just plain stupid and blinded by love. The third couple Alan and Khaotung is just pure and cute youth romance I can't help rooting for them.
I can't believe myself... I still continue watching this drama for the THIRD couple (spoiler below)! I mean, I usually root for the main couples, occasionally, the second couples, but rarely the third ones.
I'll explain. Please hear me out 🙏☺️There's no true Love triangle but only fake identities Ruo Chen loves…
Thank you for your detailed explanation clarifying the love triangle! I will just wait until it finishes airing to see the ending then. Watching too many heartbreaking xianxia endings lately is not good for my health... 🙃
Wanna start this drama, but by reading the synopsis it sounds like the plot is heavy with love triangle. For those who already watched it up till the newest episode, how is the love triangle between Zhang Yin Yin - Ji Ruo Chen - Gu Qing?
Every time I saw Lee Jun Ho on the screen he reminds me of someone... until I realized he is a younger version of Ji Sung! They can be casted as brothers, they look so alike!
the FL is so annoying, I am on EP 3 and I feel like slapping sense into her.
I didn't like her in the beginning either, and from reading some comments hating FL I didn't start the drama right away. But her character is someone whom you grow to like.
Unlike dramaland FLs who are usually warm-hearted, cheerful, lovely, etc etc, she's not typical but rather a cold and awkward FL. She's someone who has a high IQ but low EQ. She's analytical, blunt, and strong-minded, inquisitive, in the beginning, follows her intuitions and judgments but not commands or teamwork. A bit childlike I should say: "I want to do this, so I do it". She will have character growth. If you still follow later episodes it's shown she hugs two people (not ML), and one person she would've never hugged under normal circumstances. She feels happy afterward as she's achieved a milestone in her usual character.
Ending of Ep 10, preview to Ep 11: Oh no! I hope those two are okay and are not killed, because they're so cute. I was shocked by the first death already... Now I have to wait till Friday...

After this, the romance is so sweet it will give you diabetes.
