Thanks a lot for this article. I finished this season a few weeks ago so it's still fresh in my memory, but I…
- Yeah that's what I thought in the past I can't never watched an installment if it's part of a series of stories. I tried though, I tried to watch Mystic Nine as the beginning of all but dropped it. I think once I fail watching one part, I lose drive to try the rest. Since it seems you also watched a lot of doramas, I also tried with the Japanese High & Low series but I still failed... - TLT2 that never broadcast? You mean this one? https://mydramalist.com/64387-heavenly-palace-on-the-clouds - By the way, my last clip is to 'allure' people who haven't watched it yet, probably doesn't apply for people who already watched it like you, lol. it's okay for the long comment. I actually like discussing things in certain dramas in my recap articles. I usually don't have that privilege since I'm not a currently-airing drama watcher. I'm always late to the party. I start watching once it's completely subbed so I always miss the euphoria ;D
Thank you WandereR! If you need the information for the whole series it's in the article I mentioned above but…
I just watched Marcus Sim's video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hnpsmeIL8Iw Especially minute 10:10... This is quite interesting... In my article on the Murderous Affair in the Horizon Tower... I had an interesting discussion with an MDLer who stated that Taiwanese directors generally (specifically who directed that drama) direct better than Chinese directors. Now this is a HK director. As you've seen HK movies/dramas, what do you think?
I like the story and the characters. What I don't like about this drama are the endings. They never finish the…
Since I have watched a lot of Chinese dramas... sigh... I'm kinda accept the fact of this 'sad' endings. I mean open endings that second seasons never filmed or cast change. But the books themselves have open endings. The author creates cliffhangers to make his readers keep reading the next installments. So it's normal if the drama adaptations also have open endings. Regarding cast change, yeah I actually wonder why they never can keep the same cast, at least for the main characters. Unlike productions from other countries they keep same actors (so far I watched Korean, Japanese, Thai sequels/second seasons). But with massive production in Chinese dramas, more likely schedule conflicts of these busy actors, among other 'political' reasons of course.
Thank you WandereR! If you need the information for the whole series it's in the article I mentioned above but…
What I mean as star-crossed, it's not meant to be since once she knows the truth both may stand in the opposite positions in politics/war. Same with the second couple. Where will each allegiance at is a question maybe only to be answered towards the end...
Thank you WandereR! If you need the information for the whole series it's in the article I mentioned above but…
Lol... sorry I think I misunderstood the 'added info' means... I was nervous to start it as I prefer to binge from start to end for the flow of my mind/memory watching a drama. So far... I like the mystery, politics, action parts of the drama. But romance... not really. I just dislike star-crossed romance. Now I'm nervous to think how it may end...
I just finish few days ago. I've watch tots&reunion. My own personal opinionUN : trio have most time screen than…
Just my thoughts after reading some resources on the characters (not watching other dramas): - I read that Wu Xie experiences growth in the aspect of combat. He was weaker in the beginning of the series then gains some knowledge and skills later. That's why in the drama he seems coward in the beginning then the more I watched he 'suddenly' knows how to fight, considering this drama covers like 4 books of the series - The only part I remember Pang Zi is angry in the drama is concerning that girl. The rest he's his usual chatty, joker, and prankster. I myself thought that is not his character (wants to burn down the forest, lol), unless the production team added it for some kinda of romance flavor. I wondered that side story is even in the book? - I found out why there are two Zhang Qi Ling. It's not a name, it's a family title. So there can be more than 1 Zhang Qi Ling. Regarding who is the second one, I don't think the author reveals it yet In my personal opinion: I don't think romance is needed in this kind of genre. Audience in adventure and action genres don't usually like romance unless it's a subtle/prospect. I'm glad they don't include it in Ultimate Note (with A Ning and Xi Xi)
Fantastic article, Cho Na! Very innovative and creative concept, I've been waiting for an instructive and informational…
Thank you WandereR! If you need the information for the whole series it's in the article I mentioned above but since Ultimate Note is just came out last year, the article doesn't include it. Yeah, you'll definitely enjoy it. You will see a different kind of Yu Ning ;D
I don't know if you already watched this drama or not... SML not the real son of FL's aunt. I don't remember it…
Sorry I don't remember the details anymore after watching 369 dramas/movies till now. I watched this in the end of 2019. Rest assured P'Ek and Pai are not blood-related. If they are I would've grossed out and dropped this drama of course :D
