One interesting thing I have observed in MDL is that each user has his/her own preference of where they like to hangout in this site (or neither). So thank you for putting up the Forum post link of Historical Dramas Club, since people may not know about it ❤️. Probably the writer of the post may want to transform it into an MDL article ;D.

Did I miss the scene or is it in later than Ep 25? I know she was drowned and thought Shu Yu saved her, but I don't remember someone told her that Hao Du saved her or I saw Hao Du saving her.

I think Le Yan has started no longer afraid of Hao Du before she was kidnapped, since she talked more to him as she was more timid before. But yeah definitely after her adventure meeting bad and good strangers, she gains self confident facing people ;D

Regarding the series "The Drama Behind Dramas" yes I was quite surprised too when I found out the writer never continue her series after Part 3, which is written way back in 2013. So it's safe to say that other writers can 'take over' this topic with different titles ;D

You mean you're not familiar with their language in modern or historical Cdramas? Historical dramas do have poetic words (double meaning) and if translated wrong it's super confusing. Since this is an adaptation of a Taiwanese novel, though using same Chinese/Mandarin, but I think the Taiwanese style is different. Both sites I provided in the beginning of the article have good English sub ;D

I don't realize the significance of Le Yan's amulet in Ep 1, where she dropped it and Hao Du picked it up, until I saw the scene when he took out the amulet to decide which of the 2 places to go and again in Ep 24 when he was about to enter Luoyang and took it out. Question: has he ever tried to return the amulet to her, while they were in Shouzhou, and she told him to keep it? Am I missing somewhere? If not, then why he keeps it? He doesn't seems like someone who believe in amulet/superstition but uses logic. Do you guys think he secretly likes her from the beginning? Sometimes I see in dramas where someone keeps an item belongs to a person he/she likes.

Too bad... I do like lakorns, but looking for subs it's like searching for a needle in a haystack. Unfortunately Muse retired. Hopefully there are more lakorn subbers come out (it happens with Japanese subbers).
