Perhaps this series will show healthy relationships but we already start with strong sexist stereotypes: the guy…
The story doesn't start with him being popular, it's the opposite he's considered delinquent for some reason you'll watch it. He becomes popular later, you'll also watch why. This is the opposite of stereotypes in romantic dramas. The stereotype is the MLs are the superiors (rich, leader, smart, handsome, etc) and the FLs are the inferiors (poor, newbie, dumb, average look, etc) I don't watch Itazura na Kiss and its franchise for that reason I haven't watch Accidentally in Love yet, it has been in my PTW for sometime though I watched the actor's last year's drama.
NOW, "WHY DID I NOT SEE YOUR ARTICLE EARLIER" IS THE QUESTION. I opened MDL to read reviews on The King's Avatar…
To be honest I cannot tell you about The King's Avatar. When I wrote this article, people recommended me TKA. Also, when I wrote another article on Friendship. I have tried watched TKA twice, after those recommendations. But I dropped it twice, too. Though I watch CF and love it forever, I still can't make gaming dramas my favorite. Like now I will proceed carefully with Dt Appledog, another gaming drama coming this year. Prior to CF, I haven't watch Leo Wu neither Lu Han before. But they delivered their characters so well. I fell for Lu Han's character at the first episode while he's biking down the road, lol. And Leo Wu nailed it as someone on a wheelchair! All friendship along this drama actually is to die for. The inside gaming scenes are also very hilarious. You won't disappointed ;D
This is my first comment ever on a post. Very well written editorial. Forever Love is my favorite CDrama of all…
I appreciate your first comment ever on a post, that tells me that you love this drama very much <3. Since my article actually is not a review, I can say your 4 points are 4 reasons why people should watch this drama ;D
I'm going to watch it! thank you for the review.?I love to see how they manage such kind of relationship.
Honestly this is not a review, since I only wrote about one aspect. But I think this is the main feature, it's enough to make you go thru the whole drama ;D
To everyone who is contemplating to watch this drama! Put everything on hold and go start it rn!!I started it…
Third wheeling... yeah you're right!!! I usually have a conscience that I'm watching a drama so I don't invest much feeling. But I felt like I was there. Like Duan Ning when they were receiving the competition award (the first GIF clip)... awkward, lol!
Please do tell me what dramas are those if you remember them ;D
I only watched Put Your Head on My Shoulders. I put Bhuppae Sunniwat and Father is Strange in my PTW a while ago but don't have a chance to watch it yet. Which Boss and Me? The Chinese or Thai one?
Did anyone else get Le coup de foudre vibes when watching the main couple? The relationship themes are very similar,…
Honestly I haven't watched Le Coup de Foudre, yet. Do you know that Janice Wu and Zhang Yu Jian (the leads in LCdF) are actually married and have a baby girl?
I had to stop reading the article as i was beginning to give me spoilers but it convinced me to keep on watching…
As you wrote that I just realized I actually put a spoiler warning on the title when I submitted the article, but somehow it disappears during the editing process, lol. I'm not sure which over-the-top TV confession scene you watched, but I can assure you 100% is NOT what you thought before ;D
When it first went out, I didn't find this drama apealling, but now I think I am going to put it my wish list.…
You're welcome... probably you and I were the same... seeing the drama title, cover, and subgenre... not interested... pass! ;D But like someone commented here, this drama has a story depth. Not a melodrama, not boring as I thought before ;D
Will I be super lost if I watch this without having seen any of the preceding stories?
No you won't, the main protagonist also starts with not knowing a lot of things, you can type in the drama title in the google search that give you fandom website to explain things about characters, etc. But it can be considered spoiler
Great article on a great show. This show is so different from all those others where the person liked someone…
Yeah, like someone since they're young (unrequited love ) theme is a staple in romantic Cdramas whether it's a youth or adult setting, cos the fact they can't date while in high school. So basically the feeling of liking someone goes nowhere in highschool.
That is one of my favorite scene too but I can't make a gif of it for the article or readers who haven't watched…
I know, right? I even watched a Chinese drama before (in high school setting but the romance is between the teachers), in which in the student handbook stated a rule of "no puppy love" or they will get punishment, lol
I don't watch Itazura na Kiss and its franchise for that reason
I haven't watch Accidentally in Love yet, it has been in my PTW for sometime though I watched the actor's last year's drama.
I'm not sure which over-the-top TV confession scene you watched, but I can assure you 100% is NOT what you thought before ;D
