Maybe they wanted to create Jiang Li as pale and plain? Since Jiang Li has lived in a nunnery for 10 years. But even the original Jiang Li's makeup is better. Or to create ghostly symbolisim, as Xue practically came back from death. I think when Xue was alive she was livelier and her makeup is better...
I don't understand why Princess wants Jiang Li to shoot an arrow at Shen... Even if just toying with, or suspecting that Jiang Li is Xue... If Jiang Li accidentally or intentionally kills Shen, doesn't the Princess like Shen? Princess is a sadist, all right!!! Did I see she pushed Jiang Li's back or not? Or my eyes tricked me... Even if there is no interruption from Duke Su or others and Jiang Li is sober, she wouldn't kill Shen... she wants to torture Shen to death slooowly... 😂😂😂
