Thank goodness he is upgraded to short-length series!!! 🙌 Those microdramas (2 minute-ish @ 80-100 episodes) are pain in the a$$ because of their machine translation and badly made.

Interesting explanation! You probably should write a review, with a spoiler warning, presenting your theory that you believed it's an actual time traveling with an ending cleverly created to pass the censorship, hence it's just a dream.

From the trailers I’m seeing, I don’t think this is gonna be a happy ending…..

I haven't watched it but I peeked into the first episode... it's a VR simulation she goes into an ancient world and meets ML. Happy ending or not in the simulation world, I just want to wait until the drama ends to see if she meets ML in the real world.

So everything we see in this drama is all his dream? I always love time travel genre but also always end up confused…

It's made it a dream to pass the censorship, cos Chinese government prohibits modern fantasy. Real time traveling will never be a real thing in modern Chinese dramas. I'm just happy that in the end, ML and FL are still together, not ML wakes up and remembering FL with her nowhere to be around.
