Now THIS! THIS is what I wanted see. Not that lame fight scene we got. Even though Jing may be sickly and weak physically and spiritually, he is not that pathetic rag doll portrayed in that lame fight scene.

The challenge from Hou to Jing for a "fair" duel was such a joke. Jing is sickly, also physically and spiritually weak. Hou has always been the stronger one physically and spiritually. How can Hou find gratification in trampling on his younger brother, Jing, whom he has crippled physically and spiritually? It was so obviously a no win for Jing why even ask for a "fair duel"?
Whenever I see Hou, I just want him Ramsay Bolton-ed and not get that ending with FFYY. Urghh....

This fight between Hou and Jing was not at all lame in the novel. And FFYY had some great lines too. What a badly executed scene! 😬

If XL ever became a dad, he would be the "deadliest" dad ever. None of the kids will ever succeed in sneaking out to play with the fox kids. 🤪 He's got 9 heads watching over stuff, the dinner on the stove, the kids, incoming "enemies" (yup old habits die hard) and if the wifey is coming back yet. 😀
