The drama has passed the review and obtained its broadcasting license today (31/07/2026). 12 episodes have been approved. So far there is no news of an airing date.

This drama is actually the third collaboration between Jeremy and Michelle Bai. They previously starred together in Legend of the Flying Dagger and Painted Skin2.
No wonder they look so much at ease with each other.

It is certainly a contributing factor, however, in my opinion the main problem is that in the past his agency pushed him entirely into the costume idol drama genre (he played much more diverse roles in his early days) because that’s where they made the most of money. They even sabotaged his attempts to get other roles that would have allowed him to transition into a more serious genre.
Now, he is a tad too old for these idol dramas and he doesn’t have the traffic required to be cast as the lead in good productions with more age appropriate FLs.
So he has to start from the bottom again to slowly build his portfolio of diverse roles by doing guest appearances.
