this is def one of those things he should be communicating to SZT 😂

He said no feelings involved because he wasn't aware of what his feelings were, that is his staple: he is very emotionally repressed. Also he probably didn't think that 2+ years later they would still be doing whatever they are doing, moreover their workplace prohibits dating and he is her boss so there are several very valid reasons for him saying what he said.

Also I think it's better to separate the novel version from the drama because they are not exactly the same characters, there are some parts where more elaboration is provided by the drama, others where their is more context in the novel. We shouldn't expect people to dislike LN based on a character they haven't seen.

Lastly, I think this drama does a good job of showing the vulnerabilities and mistakes of both characters. I don't see SZT getting more blame especially the older and more assured she gets because we are literally watching *her* journey throughout this drama.

LN keeps saying he wants to date openly but what would that look like? Wouldn’t they both get in trouble because he is her boss and “dating” between coworkers is prohibited?

I understand and appreciate what you are saying. My point is that these characters are more than just one identifier. LN is not toxic all the time (he’s actually a secret loverboy if you look hard enough at his actions) and SZT behavior makes sense if you look at all the things LN has told her. When he first met her she was open and earnest but over time working in her industry she’s become more reserved.

This is not a slight toward her (I love SZT and the actress that plays her) but if we are going to be defending her appropriately we also have to be able to see why it is she loves him even though he is definitely a flawed character (just like everyone else)

The real problem is color coding people instead of looking at them as 3D characters.

It’s clear that they both prefer physical acts of love to verbal affirmations (at this point) but there are reasons for both characters to be this way. From what we see LN has been taught that being emotional is a liability so he constantly represses his emotions and SZT is actually a very emotional person but LN has told her for from day one she can’t be if she wants to last so it’s logical.

At their core they are both the same

That doesn’t make sense by the way he was acting

😩 Luke and his way with words

Episode 11 was absolutely my favorite episode aired thus far. So much angst and emotion these idiots are literally constipated by love but are horrid at communicating their feelings because they are afraid of being vulnerable.

Plus the supporting cast interactions/plot development was so good. I loved the view at the top of the mountain 😍.

I feel like this was the first episode where edits and scenes were fully in tact and not butchered by the reduced episode count.

Same this was my absolute favorite episode thus far. So much angst… my heart broke for these two absolute terrible relationship communicators lol

Especially when Luke said “today is Friday” and Flora replied “I know” 🥺😩😭💔

don't forget about the gift he picked up in Switzerland. Boy can throw a tantrum lol

Underrated scenes:

1. Luke asking Flora when has she ever shown him gratitude (insinuating he wants something physical) and then Flora casually responding by offering him her the medal she received 😂
2. Luke being so jealous he can't help but ask about the alleged 'blind date' she's going on while she is driving his car, causing her to crash 😂 to which he's SHOCKED ... like dude, pick a better time and place to do your interrogating.

someone needs to make a TikTok skit of them being an office employee at Lime and being awkward in the background while Luke and Flora have all their in office UST and eye sex 😂

pretty sure that him saying “Let’s date.” and her saying “okay.” was just a voice over of the previous scene. but I def think the editing process /episode reduction cut a lot of crucial scenes/.

"only to take advantage himself in the end" Is a very incorrect retelling of the scene that demonstrated multiple moments of consent.

It's not surprising you are struggling with the plot of the show when you are taking away points that never happened.
